Thanks for the review of the Tirant... raised sights are a big plus with this can. Quick comment on the gun, to each his own... I shoot an XD45, and I love the button mag release. Even in gloves, I've never had an issue "finding it," but I think that comes down to experience and familiarity with the weapon.... I've put about 6k rounds through it. If I trained with the HK lever release, maybe I would feel differently, but having shot only a few mags through one of these, it just felt awkward!
The "PVC pipe" look on the AAC tirant is for weight savings. The thicker material at the end is for the threading of the tube to screw on the front and end cap of the suppressor.
The H&K USP.45 has a larger frame than the USP9 & .40 which both have the same size frame. I've got a H&K USP9 back in the states that I've logged every round I've shot threw it, including the 3 test shots done by the H&K. I have found the H&K USP9 to be the most reliable handgun I've ever shot, I've logged 2,650 rounds (all of which were115 gr Federal or Remington UMC). I've never shot reloads. I've NEVER had ANY malfunction of any kind, it's been 100% reliable, I'd trust my life with it.
@LifeSizePotato How easy is it to convert this one from right to left handed? Is it just to assemble the parts on the other side or do you need new ones?
@solidgearman It's a handgun. Just put it in your left hand. You're not going to be holding it up next to your head where you have to worry about it tossing hot brass in your face.
@SergeiTheAnarch This one does have a light, underneath the laser. I don't use it much so that's probably why I didn't talk a lot about it. It's pretty bright and has a few different modes and brightness levels, including a strobe feature intended to disorient somebody in the dark.
@LifeSizePotato cool so is there anyones that, in your opinion, can compete with that one because my cousin owns one who is looking for a laser with a flashlight
@SergeiTheAnarch I haven't really looked at laser/lights since I got this one a few years ago, so I don't know what the latest and greatest is. A lot of people go with Surefire, but they're pretty expensive. Viridian has an updated version of this green laser/light out, I think, and if I get another one it would probably be that.
Great review. The only thing that bothers mr about HK pistols is the polygonal rifling. I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to that aspect I guess. Just curious but what's your tightest group with that whole set-up?
mr. LifeSizePotato, i was wondering if you are going to review the Beretta 418. I have one of these nickel plated and i was wondering if you could talk about the history or any knowledge you have about it. i understand it was one of the original James Bond firearms and thats about it. anyway, thanks for all the videos. you make learning fun!
@marino4691 Good question. I just weighed it and with 12 rounds of hollowpoints, the rig weighs about 58 oz, or ~3.6 lbs. Part of that is the rail adapter and light, of course. Not a light package overall, but it probably helps make the gun so soft-shooting.
dude u have everything need only zombies ;}
