I used to buy rambo 1 kinfe long time ago and my mum didnt alowe me to buy it i was pissed of then But now i have 17 years and i have all 4 rambo knifes and i can tell the rambo 2 knife is my favorite, o ncamping with friends i was caried rambo 2 knife with me and i can tell you it was really thought and extreme condition survival knife. Also nice collection dude and nice prersentation.

From my understanding a good or... Higher end "Rambo" knife is made by chris reeves... Anyway I have always thought the concept of these designed were neat...

However one have to take into account the overall durability and really I'd not want to own one of these until they make one that will not suffer from a weaker blade ( More liable to break without the tang ) durability.

In Vietnam, I think the Ka-bar was still being issued by the gov and it's probably the closest thing to a bowie, is that what your grandpa has?
