The police murder someone and their responsibility just dissolves they maintain their same privileges and no one except for a group of picketers is calling for justice. It's just "sad news". A few young people breaking some windows and suddenly everyone is in an uproar and crying for punishments. It's unbelieveable how selfish people are.
And shame on you for supporting a site that tries to get random people punished without evidence for their crimes.
It should also be stated to prevent further ignorant speculation that the rioters are not just angry about the one shooting but about years of low employment, police harassment and violence, public funding cuts, rising housing costs and gentrification. You claim they don't understand the problem (speculation based on their age), yet many of them are living in it. Whether or not you like the protests, it's important to have some perspective here.

@Culiccidae It wasn't just a "few people" breaking windows. Have you SEEN the pictures? Or HEARD the news at all? They've torched buildings and broken into shops (breaking windows may seem small, yeah, but not when they're breaking the windows to get in and LOOT). People calling for punishments isn't the selfish part. Or the only selfish part anyway- when people riot on the streets for playstations and shoes, THAT'S selfish.

@aporeg I don't live in the UK, so no, I didn't see it myself- but I have it on the report of several articles and three of my English friends that the attack on the Children Hospital happened.
reports on amateur radio have reports of automatic gunfire coming from large crowds in the street in certain regions liverpool was one i heard. Please give back the right to own a handgun in the united kingdom, people are starting to die to the hands of criminals armed with automatic weapons. Please allow the people to get a concealed handgun permit to so they can defend their families in public for gods sake!
@gunitup234 Truth be told, living in Texas, allowed to have guns very easily, kind of sucked because anyone could be armed and there was a lot more shooting-involved road rage incidents. Though I do really see your point since they certainly wouldn't just stop if you asked them politely.
Oh by the way about the identifying thing , if you know anything about the Manchester riots you can send information to the Greater Manchester Police's twitter/gmpolice (yeah our police have twitter!). I think you can also use their website which will come up if you search "Greater Manchester Police" but I'm not sure as I can't get on the site right now as it is too busy due to the riots.
Thanks so much for this video Lisa! It is so scary here in Manchester and most of the shops are ruined. But I am planning to go to the city tomorrow or the day after to clean up and film the damage! I just can't believe it, it's all happened so suddenly and people are only continuing out of greed. Hopefully it'll stop soon.
