Daniels has been an excellent governor. I kind of doubt he can win a presidential election, but he certainly represents my views on things. He has been extremely fiscally responsible, and we remain one of the most fiscally sound and economically solid states in the country despite the recession and states all around us falling apart (Illinois, Michigan).

The schools in my county are suffering, tho, so he needs to work on that.

Mitch Daniels has been the most fiscally responsible Governor in our state's history. In 3 short years he cleaned up 16 years of mismanagement and turned a record budget deficit into a record surplus.

Due to the revenue crunch, Daniels made the correct and frugal decision to cut the entire state budget to meet with the revenue shortfall. We have maintained a AAA bond rating for the first time in our state's history.

Also the property tax cap. Finally a reasonable tax law in Indiana.

No way no how this man should run for President! No plans to run they always say that! I live here in Indiana, and he has run this state to the ground!

Our schools are bankrupt, he lied about the I69 project when running for governor, he has raised taxes across the board and he cry's the state still doesn't have enough money.

He screwed up our welfare system "outsourcing it out " to IBM who screwed it up horrible and is now under investigation for the legality of how the whole deal was handled!

@ratdoghippy Schools Bankrupt? The state is still giving $8,464,745,338 to elementary and secondary schools. We just don't have the money to give them the $172,826,790 increase originally budgeted.
