Apparently, you're not worried about the facts getting in the way of a good insult. Franken grew up in St. Louis Park, Minnesota and did his radio show from the Foshay Tower, which, if I'm not mistaken, is not in New York.

Facts. Franken was born in New York. Left here after high school and did not have a home here until he came back here to run for Senate. His failed radio show was in New York the first year and a half - the state he forgot to pay workers comp insurance.

I am combating negative trolls - if its negative than so be it. Why don't you spread your wisdom on Al Franken's website. Norm at least allows for disent on his site. Franken's people have to personally approve comments.

Franken is not a failed radio host. He left Air America following his on-air announcement that he would seek the U.S. Senate seat in Minnesota. Air America is still broadcasting, by the way.

Franken's ratings on Air America were terrible. If Air America had taken off Franken would be making millions not carpetbagging himself into the DFL in Minnesota. Air America went bankrupt, took an illegal loan which paid Franken's salary (Franken acknowledges this), and barley registers a dash mark in most market ratings.

Air America reached several terrestrial stations across the country and even has a home on Sirius Satellite Radio, which no doubt helped Franken's show beat "Ditto" Limbaugh in ratings.
