NEver been... only been to Ottawa in the summer...best Canada Day Party Ever... but I do look forward to the frozen Canal, even tho every year, news here in Toronto, tells us that hte Canal won't freeze in time for Winterlude.

But I`m moving to Ottawa this Sept... looking at a place right off Wellington, so will be pretty close, no excuses to miss out

Yeah I used to go to WinterLude/Bal De Neige every year on school trips. Back then it was pretty small and not that great. I'm sure by now it's much more big and grand.

I always found the Canal was like opened for 2 weeks and before I knew it closed.

My favorite winter thing to do was go to the ice sculptures at night near the Rideau Center and Elgin street in that park.

Haha well the best way I can explain that one is that it's just like people that say "you know" at every few words. It is a canadian "expression" but only certain people say it alot. And it can get quite annoying! :P
