Love it. Love them. Please keep coming to Portland, OR 2x/yr and I'll keep loving you from the stage's edge. xoxo. That's just the kind of blues I call rock. And I can't stand it. Ouch.
You know, the Greenhornes remind me of the Kinks on several occasions. I kinda wish more modern rock songs would be like a Greenhornes song. They really do know how to rock.
you mean backup vocals period :) he never sings backup in the racs :( I think he should play harmonica too, cuz if i remember right he plays harmonica.
Who filmed this thing? They basically stay on Craig the whole time (no complaints, but there are two other guys in the band), EXCEPT for when he has a guitar solo. And then they show Little Jack forgetting the words when they could be filming Patrick's drumming...
By the way, I LOVE Little Jack's hair here...sort of...I think he stole it from one of the Sixties bands the Greenhornes sound like. Oh, well...fabulous band, not so fabulous footage...they sound great, though.
jack white is awesome. they definately wouldnt be anything without him.. but you also have to say they wouldnt be anything with out patrick, little jack, and brandon as well. but i do think they are one of the best bands out there
yea really the most music out is shit... my cuzz just told me to look up academy is and she said this is what the kids are listening to now a days and said wow. IT WAS SO BAD!
The Greenhornes should be the famous ones, not all the generic emo shit that we can't seem to get rid of. Besides, spelling "The Greenhornes" doesn't mess up your whole sentence the way "The Academy Is..." does. See what I mean?
Hmmm that was supposed to be direct reply to your comment, but for some reason it didn't show up that way and just looks like I'm randomly bitching about the omnipresent boredom that is so-called "emotional" music....the only emotion that seems to be present in Emo is the desire to make a ton of money off of not much talent. But that's just my opinion, I guess.
Wow this sounds so old skool !!!!

RockenChich 1 year ago
@RockenChich Green day = Fucking robbers. You can find that drum beat in "purple Haze" too.
rippersk8er 1 year ago
@rippersk8er you can probably find that in 100 songs
DiamondJack11 1 year ago
@DiamondJack11 True true, but I think purple haze ones is probably one of the earlier. Anyway it cant be green day.
rippersk8er 1 year ago
@rippersk8er Ya its pretty common, but I don't know if Purple Haze was the first song that had it.
TaffyRaphie 1 year ago
@TaffyRaphie probably not... but I think green day is the wrong reference...
