To all of you who think Debra thinks Dexter is a serial killer, she just saw him kill Travis. Dexter can still get out of this if he thinks of something clever to say. She doesn't know anything about Dexter killing anyone else, just Travis. Dexter can keep Debra in the dark and say Travis tried to attack me and I killed him because I thought he was too dangerous, or tell her the truth about Travis and Harrison on top of the building.

@misskye121 yes, there will be a season 7 and 8. The writers said that it's possible the show will go on after that, but they will only go on as long as they have a story to tell.

I expected this ending to be better. It was good, but I think this ending should have been a lot more similar to the killing of Trinity. This ending is very similar to many other deaths in the show. I think Dexter was stupid in not locking the front door.

@88chemical88 Even then, Travis was very high on animal tranquilizer, but I think it was also bad for him to do the kill at the church when Debra knew that he was going to be there. It was stated in the very early parts of the episode that he was going to the church so he could finish checking the place for evidence.

Still, Trinity's kill is one of my favourites.

@DBKaiFANSonGokuRises Dexter kind of sympathisized with him since Trinity and Dexter are alike. They both have families and they are both killers. I feel that Dexter in a way was trying to make himself look bigger than Trinity during the kill.

The series of dexter is just amazing, but when Deb walked in on Dexter killing Travis, and the credits went on I was like FUUUU. I was so glued to the last 3 episodes of this series. I can't wait to see what happens next.
