The lion was very young + he was in captivity. In the wild you will never see a leopard fighting a lion, even a young one....

its doesn't matter. a full grown lion was killed by a puma. Lion can even lose a fight if born and raised in captivity. But if a wild lion went up against a wild puma, leopard or tiger the lion will surely win.

Lions held in captivity = pussies

Lions born and raised in the wild = dealiest of all cats after Sabertooth and the American Lion
