@mrfailsalot depends on what ur going for, and ur price range. these are WAY more expensive than the BC rich bass, but from personal experience, bc rich basses have really shitty output which metal players like i guess cuz in metal u dont really need good tone anyways, personally, if i could, i would go tom araya any day than a BC rich.

I believe it's the even higher up model that the 600, the straight up TOM ARAYA ESP because of the Ebony fretboard

No, this is a top of a line ESP TA model. You can also tell by the knobs. TA-600 only has 3 knobs. ESP TA is also neck thru.
