  • Hello :D your lessons are very good! thanks for your help!!

  • Your video is very helpful. It would be more helpful if you put some words every time you say korean words.. So that it would be easy for us(your listeners) to say the right word..

    kamsahamnida

  • i want to learn more, kamsa :)

  • So what if you want to say Good Bye formally ? (:

  • @LicyRicee

annyoungheegaseyo -Formal goodbye IF the person is going away from your place, or if the person is leaving a place to go somewhere else (ex. invitees, your mom's friend who came for a visit etc)

annyoungheegehseyo - Formal goodbye IF if you're the invitee, you went over to their place and you're leaving their place, and they are staying there, not going anywhere

jalgaseyo- same thing as the first. slightly less formal but still polite

jalgeseyo - same as the 2nd.

  • thanx for ur vid really very helpful for beginners like me. hope ul continue to make more

  • Kamasamida

  • hello!!! Is it annyoung? or annyeong bcuz sometime i hear people say either one so i dont know which one to say.

  • Wait How do you say the 2nd one?

  • @prince5797 annyeonghaseyo

  • So how do you say goodbye to older people? Is it also annyeong?

  • @ShelikesaHer009

    it's annyoungheegaseyo or jalgasaeyo

if you're expecting the older person to come back to you/come to see you again (ex. parents) then it's annyoungheedanyuohsaeyo

  • @ShelikesaHer009

    forgot to mention

if the older person is leaving the place, then it's annyoungheegasaeyo

if you are leaving their place, then it's annyoungheegaesehyo

  • 멋지다. 훌륭하다. 놀랍다. 경이롭다. 환상적이다. 빼어나다. 수려하다. 아름답다.

  • I thought it was like this, originally anyways:

    Britain: Hello

    USA: Hi

  • Hi, thanks for your comment!!

that possibly makes sense to me then. British English is more polite in general I guess. My supervisor from the States told me 'Hello' is more polite than just 'hi' at least in the States. :-)

  • Yes, one thing doesn't necessarily rule out the other :)
