  • hi there hope you can help I had my 06 installed HID lights em i suppose to have my drl disconnected. It seem one of my ligth sometimes not work and sometimes work. What steps can i do to trouble shoot? Many thanks, Bernard_matic @yahoo.com

  • where would i place the ballast for a 04 wrx

  • Will these HiDs look exactly the same as the ones in the STi or will they look different/worse?

  • @Krimghor These will look almost identical to the Sotck HID's on the STI. 4300K is the stock color from the manufacturer, and 6000K gives it a bit more of an aggressive look with a very slight tint of blue.

If you have additional questions please let us know at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com or call us toll free at 1-800-840-3240

    Thank you,

    XS Team

  • Do the ballasts get hot?

  • @Flysohighx21 Ballasts do not get very hot at all and have aluminum casings for cooling

  • @XenonSupply Is there a way to match the color for the fog lights?

  • @PocketDrummer Have you already purchased your HID kit for the fog light or are you looking to get matching sets for your lows and fogs?

  • Great video I only wish it were so simple for my car. I have a 2007 Impreza Outback Sport which has the DRL's on the low beams. Do you make a product that can disable the DRL's on the low beams so I can install one of your HID kits. Or better than that do you have something that would allow me to switch the DRL's over to the high beams?

  • @porsche558 Sorry for the late response! We have a harness and capacitor that will allow you to run the HID's off the low beam without issues related tot he DRL. contact us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com for additional info.

  • I have a 2002 2.5ts and would like to install bi-xenon 5k hids. im not sure if my high and low beams are the same bulb or not to know which kind of hids to get. also, if i install these, will there be a glare?

  • @BxxxxxN The 2002 uses the same kit as shown in the video. Email us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com and we can send you a direct link to the product.

  • Would i be okay to use a similar kit since the bulbs on my 98 legacy are 9007 also? Would i need projectors or could i use the stock housing?

  • @jantzen8895 Yes, a similar kit can be used however, we cannot assist you when there are issues or installation problems as every kit is different in comes in varying quality.

  • Ok....My boy has a 2007 Impraeza wagon and wanted to do an HID upgrade. Will he need the realy or any additional accessories to be able to run the kit with the daytime running lights?

  • @bigdaddy6879 To our knowledge the DRL runs off the high beam so a low beam conversion will work out just fine!

  • @XenonSupply

I've just installed the bixenon kit on my 2003 wrx.

I was running a single beam kit and disabled the DRLs to prevent the bulbs burning out from receiving inadequate voltage. Does disabling the DRLs disable the highbeams as well?

Great video, made installation very easy!

  • @whit6680 No, disabling the DRL does not in any way affect the high beam functionality.

Glad to hear your install went well.

  • Would I be able to get Bi-Xenon for my 1998 Subaru Impreza RX? It uses H4 for the headlights and H3 for the fog lights I think. I was planning on buying the Xetronic Digital G2 Lighting System, it's a high end bi-xenon HID kit basically.

  • @TommiMcOwie The H4-3 Bi-Xenon HID kit will work for your vehicle. We do sell an high end H4 BiXenonSystem as well as provide tutorials for this type of installation. If you have additional questions just let us know at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com

  • what about a 07 2.5i, will i need harness?

  • @XxHolyPoptartxX THe 07 uses the H7 bulb type and will not require a harness.

  • THANK YOU :)

  • i have an 06 wrx do i need the realy harness?

  • @jphenx For the 06, you do not require a harness and the bulb type is an H7.

  • Nice video. This is probably a stupid question, but i went to the website and checked the HID kits. What is the difference between the Standard 9007 kit and the Standard Bi-Xenon 9007 Kit?

  • @chiefwhalop The standard 9007 is single beam only, meaning low beams only. The Bi-Xenon means low beam and high beam. The 9007 is considered a dual filament bulb where the high beam and low beam are combined into one. With HID's you can either get a single beam kit (9007 Standard) and sacrifice high beam, or do the Bi-Xenon and have both in one bulb.

  • i just installed a kit yesterday and it seems my low beams and high beams are reversed all the wires are direct plug and play so i didnt mess anything up ....i dont get it ???

  • @aaronzgod You may need to switch the outside wires to reverse the low beam and high beam signal. If this is a XenonSupply kit, the wiring harness should have quick disconnects to easily make this change.

  • so are these hi's or low's

  • @painfull94 These are the Bi-Xenon bulbs that allow for both high and low beam.

  • i need help installing HIDS on my 04 wrx..04 wrx use different bulbs cant get bulbs off?? and do i need relay harness?

  • @gamblerz4life The 04 uses an H1 style bulb and has retaining clips that hold the bulb in place. you should not require the use of a harness for this single beam installation
