  • Forget the bikes. It's the driver. If I were to race on a supersport bike against a pro on a spree, he would win.

  • Looks like someone riding for fun not trying to prove anything. We all know what Buells go like...

  • stop moning about people racing iv you dont want to see it dont serch for it people love speed thats why thay buy a bike if you aint fast ure last

  • Nice bike, but damn that road is dangerous. Plenty of riders have lost their lives on that road, so i'd take it easy in the future, don't be stupid.

  • this vid was a while ago - and a spur of the moment thing - I don't know the guy on the R6 - I take it easier nowadays.

    :)

  • its a horible thing to say, but i kinda want to to see him fall off and take out a car and really hert the person in the car, so that then they realise that what they are doing is frikin stupid and that its not only them that can get hurt. stop being selfish, if u wanna burn it on ur bike go to a bloody track and do it safley. idiots

  • Looks like the coast road from Weymouth to Bridport.

    AND you passed a pub.

  • great video man i want to get a bike but dont really know what to get i was thinking about a ducati monster or something in the family

  • Thanks for your reply mate, ya bike sounds nice any way, I find the same with my Bandit1200 that on pulling of and pulling out of corners they do leave these sports bikes behind, but as you say on the track like my R1 "No chance".

  • I some how think that the R6 was not out, to take on the Buel, I beleive that the chap who put this on here is just making out that he took the R6 on for a race but did not realy happen. If the chap on the R6 even thought the chap on the Buel/Muel was out for a race? he would of beat him hands down.

  • as you know, on the road some people try harder than others, it isn't much to do with the bikes, IMO. I have kept up with and usually passed every type of bike on my old 'Muell'. On a race track I am sure it would be a different story.

Don't under estimate Buells, they handle and have the same kinda torque as R1/GSX/ZXR10 but at low reves :)

  • @shudnobeta Nah, Buells handle BETTER than other jap litre bikes. ;)

  • hey where is that R6 just kidding but i do find it funny that people like to knock Buells say ow this 600 has more HP but only peak but you dont ride around at 14000 hey ring its neck if it helps

  • Hi lehrjet31 - I agrre and find that 600's are fairly easy to nail on the road. And even the big jap bikes need to know it down a gear or two to get the revs right to keep ahead.

On long straights though - the Buell has no chance of keeping up - all to do with gearing of course.

  • It's all about choosing the right tool for the job. Buells are designed to master the corners rather than the straightaways. The drivetrain's strength is low-end torque as opposed to upper-end HP. Apples and oranges; it's a moot point to try to compare them. They're two completely different types of bike.

  • I must say that I am getting quite tired of revving my zx6 at 15g to get the power espically in low speed corners,,, although nothing beats it on the highway!!

  • Gixer - I was using two Tony hawke cameras that can be had off ebay for about £30 each. The digital 3 hero camera looks like it would probably be a better item - but costs about £90. I find wind noise is the biggest problem

    Good luck

  • Nice video. What cameras did you use? I'd love to make video myself, as would my friends. Crewkerne to west bay is one of our favourite roads.
