i shoot a .243 win w 55gr sierra blitzkings. faster rounds do wear out barrels faster but they are still good for several thousand rounds if they're taken care of properly.my hunting buddy shoots a 22-250 rem and he has but thousands of rounds through his and it's just as accurate as it was new

@gphx Coyote goes well with potatoes, corn, you could ground it up and add onion and bread crubs make it into a patty, throw some ketchup on it you got yourself a burger, any animal can and has been eaten, hes got one up on you for survival, he knows how to get a coyote (food animal) close enough to kill and eat if he had too!

Coyotes travel in packs. A good sized dog could easily take on a single coyote, but not 4 or 5.
