What people don't realize is that this hit in the poorest communities long before it hit anywhere else. I happen to live in one of those communities and for us it started when the price up gas went up. I saw many people going door to door selling their belongings for gas money just so they could make it to and from work. People began to combine their resources and helping one another. This is what poor people do during times like these.

yup we can see some paralels. only in couple of years in the future we will be able to look back and fully compare&analyze. but i doubt this crisis is the last one. There will be many more..

I think that all this could've been and still can be stopped if the war stopped and if the world wasn't such a greedy place. What we need to do is to give those people food and shelter. But noooooooooo! The government says they can't afford to feed and shelter the rest of the world because they already deal with our country.That is the biggest lie I've ever herd! They say they can't afford to help, yet they can afford to make drugs, buy fancy cars, buy expensive clothes, etc. The world's greedy!
