  • Oh, this sounds really noble! And hey, those quasi rubatos makes it super expressive!

Oh and on a side-note, how many pedal does your harpsichord have? Since it is using a different sets of strings?

  • i wanna know who the 3 dipshits were that were like..."Nope! I Dissapprove of this! It does not meet my standards!... like another person who actually can play one of those or even have access to one watched this and was like " Pah this Nube can suck it! He's totally lame at that thing! pahaha Dislike." What a cupple of faggos is all im sayin I thought ur song was cool I love that style of music... and Deathmetal.

  • love this sound makes me think deep about the past

  • why do virginals sound so different from harpsichrods??

  • other form, other pluck point

  • i've always wanted one of these :)

  • don't wait too long

  • I had to come back for a "second helping". Greetings from an early music fan in Finland

  • Absolutely enjoyable! Soothes my ears and soul.

  • thanks!

  • Sorry, Eddie Van Halen is a famous guitarist from the band Van Halen. It was a joke. But love this type of old music. Thanks

  • Great music!! But I think Eddie Van Halen stole the riffs from you!!

  • I don't know Eddie van Halen.

  • @ernststolz He's a Dutch-American guitarist who is famous for following no other musicians and creating his own technique. (He moved to USA at 7) What the hell musician doesn't know who Eddie Van Halen is? Lol

  • @ernststolz

    Echt niet?!

  • @The20vturbo Was that a joke? Eddie Van Halen never wrote a solo or guitar riff in a song not even close to this.. Sorry I'm on coke or something of course youre joking. This video is 3 years old and Eddie stopped writing like 15 years ago. And this guy is un famous.

  • @The20vturbo You're right, ruffs would add to the period look of this video. (Oh, "riffs"....)

  • Marvellous sound!

  • woooow really niiiice!

i'll steal your music for my project ! niahahaha

  • That was really nice:)

  • you are very welcome... i always loved this instrument.. since i was small i remember a tv series about the life of Giuseppe Verdi and he had an harpichord and there was one of the first pieces he compesed.. i loved it :)

  • How is this genre called? It reminds of music played in the carribean around 1600 and i'm struggling to find how is the genre called..Pls help!

  • Let us just call it charming...

  • Its just renaissance keyboard music.

It was played in europe about 1600.

The only places in teh carribean it might have been played are the places that europeans settled..

  • calm down

  • amen

  • Thanks! (it is a virginal though)

  • Charming music. Beautiful sound and performance.

  • Thank you!

  • Not for nothing were they called 'virginalists' - 90% of the keyboard music of northern Europe of this period sounds better on the smaller instrument, rather than the harpsichord proper...

  • Beautiful!

  • i enjoyed it! really nice!

  • this is a harpichord; or a clavecimbel as we call it it in dutch. I am very proud to be a Brabander. Best region in the world (Vlemish and Dutch)!

  • Flemish Dutch and the Blankers Boere volk in Suid-Afrika mate

  • at 2:02, it sounded a bit like la follia

  • thanks for noticing!

  • Ahh lovely music! Keep on rocking dude;)

  • mooi en zoet music :)

  • Dank je wel!

  • Always a lovely surprise of beauty within your videos.

    Best Regards, from Vienna, Manhattan,

    Nate

  • Thank you very much (this is one of my "older" videos).

  • nice, thanks!

  • Is this a spinetta?

  • it is a virginal. Something similar is a spinet(ta) or a musselaer, depending on the place of the keyboard (and sound differences).

  • very great

  • What a great sound, video, and tableau! I was so impressed and feel like slipping into my favorite paintings of Vermeer. Thanks for posting. I love songs in this Manuskript.
