  • Muito Bom ... Parabéns ... Congratulations from Brazil

  • @barrios5caprice

    Obrigado :-)

  • Handsomely done, Jean, indeed. It is quite an inspiring piece, a dash melancholic, as one would expect form a proper Celtic song. You performed it with both flawless dexterity and compelling artistry. Bravo!!

  • Hi Jean, thank you for your reply. Thats exciting that there is going to be a vol 2. Can't wait!

    Robbie

  • Hi Jean, is there any chance the Tab for this arrangement is available? I know you published it in Trad magazine, but wondered if it were otherwise available seperately? I emailed you a couple of days ago about it? Cheers,

    Robbiej

  • @ukRobbieJ1

    Hi,

Maybe in "Irish Fingerpicking Guitar Vol. 2", but you will have to wait (for Christmas ?)

    Jean

  • This arrangement is absolutely beautiful. The single guitar part in the beginning is great by itself. The added second guitar turns it into a symphony.

  • @dadgadjohn

    Very nice, thank you :-)

  • Very nice, beautiful sounding Lowden and that action looks like a dream.

  • @Dracapalley

    Thank you.

Did you notice my shirt on this video ? I was a supporter of the English team of Rugby for the last match (just because my wife is a big fan of the french team...)

England was victorious but family atmosphere is degraded ;-)

  • @jeanbanwarth Haha - Brilliant! :0)

  • Ciao Jean,

I did not expect another arrangement in a short period of time, this is a great gift.

I really like this one with 2 guitars...you are a very creative musician.

  • @markskywalker71

    Thank you :-)

I will try to make a new video for "Pigeon on the Gate" next week.

  • Hi Jean. This is a fantastic arrangement and playing of one Carolan's best tunes.

    My best regards

    George

  • Lovely piece ...

  • beautiful piece, well played bravo. is that a cedar topped lowden you're playing? nice pick guard. i would be interested to know how you mic'ed your guitar.

    cheers and keep playing!

  • @thecheney

    Thank you :-)

You're right, my guitar is a Lowden O23 and I use a Zoom H2 for recording.
