@SirDeReap Actually they can, all zombie movies come from the prequel to this movie. The idea of a dumb zombie was in the original, but was dropped in favor of a more intelligent one. It wasn't until the late 80s and early 90s that the "dumb zombie" become standard. Then they moved away from the slow zombies to fast zombies in the late 90s-early 2000s, and now..i guess some can swim..which is bullshit.

Romero originally called them ghouls when he made the movie. I also don't know why Romero would say a zombie can't pick up a rock and break a window cause he made them smarter than that in Land of the Dead.
