The Bible, as I see it at least, lays out very clear and concise directions which enable us to tell whether one who comes witnessing or testifying is testifying of his own accord or if he is testifying of the Truth that is in the Holy Spirit.

It also lays out ways of telling if someone is a "wolf in sheeps clothing" so to speak, lest we be deceived and misled. I can tell you that Okebaram's actions alone testify to that fact that he is speaking to the Truth that is of the Holy Spirit.

Just one question: if Satan didn't /doesn't rule the earth, why did Jesus call him "the god of this world", and why does the Bible state that "the whole earth is lying in the power of the evil one?" I agree that false knowledge will oppose the true gospel as we get closer to judgment, and that even God's elect will have to grapple for the truth.

One characteristic of the tribulation is that the line between good and bad will become clearer and clearer; with non believers lining up on the left, and the elect on the right. This sifting of the good and bad will not occur along church lines.

What you say here about "errant teachings" is very accurate: we are told it's OK to

abort pre-borns and make "gay marriage" legal, just two examples.

Everything God does has a very good reason. Part of the reason for the symbols/mysteries in the bible is that knowing specific actions that God wants to do will be misunderstood or considered wrong by us if judged by our current boxes of thinking. So it is concealed, so that the unclear reasons behind the actions can be explained supernaturally by God's Spirit to those whom He reveals His intentions to. Another reason is that God is strategic.

For example: say God decided Jesus would come back last year if the gospel is known to a certain extent, but it turned out people went the other direction, and God decided, the next best thing for humanity will be for Jesus to come back 30,40 years later. One other reason is that one prophecy in the bible is meant for like 100 different scenarios. Some passages refer to the people in the olden days and yet refer to the church now at the same time. Because of that, symbols are used to explain the concepts that are applicable to several scenarios. That way, the bible is not a gigantic book that only few will dare to read.

witnessed in vision things that are occurring and will occur in our day. The Bible is one part instruction, one part history and one part prophecy.

In order to avoid contradictions and misinterpretations, I advise you to read King James Version, not a dumbed down Bible like one of these modern versions...

What is astonishing to me is the fact that, in the final battle, the human soldiers in satan's army will see Jesus Christ right before their eyes and will know he is real. But STILL they reject him! The truth that they have denied for so long will be right in front of them, and they will DARE to attack!

It is astonishing indeed! At that time they have used completely shut out the grace of God and also killed all believers. There is therefore no power to cause conviction in their hearts, since the Holy Spirit is necessary for any man to be convicted of sin. At that time they have elevated willful sin and when they see Jesus, all they will feel is fear, damnation and anger, etc... no repentance. That final battle is discussed in the latter chapters of the series
