Yes the Tanaka K98 is good for skirmishing. It shoots 500fps out of the box. It take a magazine from the bottom instead of those annoying shells like the Dboys. The other option is to convert one using a JG BAR-10 or VSR-10 internals. Check out the WWII Airsoft forum for more info on it.

@nasanasa3 i got the real kar 98 bayonet, this is a bayonet from the start of the war, the one they had when the amerikans did enter was a bit shorter, not so much, only a bit, and yes, its hell long, the blade is about 25 centimeters long, yes, the germans wantet to be sure they could stad ther enemy before they could reach them, its a lovely knife, and i only have one thing to ay about the kar 98 rifel, your just gotta love that gun
