  • That would be amazing...I've had a elk at 10 yards..NEVEr at 2..That is pretty amazing

  • He's pretty awesome ! It's good to admire Animals after hunting. Killing some during the hunt is life, the reward is celebrating life.

  • freaking amazing. dang nice bull too. what i wouldnt do for one to move in like that. i killed one at 10 paces once but i snuck up on him, he didnt come into me. that was just awsome stuff man, good job!

  • Wow, he came at you fast! <3 I love elk.

  • the calls of them sound just funny :D

  • Wow. That was cool

  • THAT IS THE BEST FREAKIN GAME CALL I HAVE EVER SEEN WORK!

  • too bad a deer buck will never come that close. seems hunting elk is so much easier..

  • @damnU2 Sounds like you've never done it. Not as easy as it looks! Sitting over a feeder for deer seems a little pussy for me too though!

  • @FXMAN66 baiting is not allowed where i deer hunt..so yeah..

  • After about 3 minutes he woulda smelt the shit in my pants and trotted off...sweet video

  • soo cool..

  • And that ladies and gentlemen, is how you fill an elk tag with a knife =)

  • i would freak out if a large horned beast such as that, got within 10 feet of me.

  • @FM11Argyle, I am not a hunter but these men have a point. Also, if this was all you had to feed your family what would you do? You wouldn't let them starve. These are beautiful animals and I don't like to see anything die but if you want to see true trophy hunters...go to Africa. You can't reem these men for putting food on the table for their families.

  • Good video....I'd love to go elk hunting...especially if I could get an elk to come to me like that...I assume this was a freak incident?

  • @FM11Argyle

So........which type of "superior" human are you, a vegan or a hypocrite? How does having someone else do your killing or pretending your hamburger or leather shoes didn't come from a dead animal make you a better person? At least the wild game I eat doesn't have to spend it's entire miserable life in a small pen on a pile of it's own feces. I bet it's hard to watch youtube videos with your head inside your rectum. Have a lovely oblivious day.

  • I would be laughing my ass off

  • Dumbass now he's callshy

  • I wish guides where this good here! I would pay out the nose for a guide that could do that.

  • Awesome video. Great Bull

  • Awesom video! That always happens if you don't have a bow or you're tagged out. What a bruiser.

  • What did you use to hide your scent?

  • where in montana were you

  • i would jump at it and slash his neck

  • @FM11Argyle So, you are "normal" while others are "scum?" Sorry, I have never killed an animal for a trophy. Yeah, there are a few head mounts hung around the house, but everything I have hunted, I have also eaten. If you would prefer spending $7/pound for steak to $.99 for a shell that will get you 400 pounds of meat, then be my guest. I'm sorry that you envision a utopia where we all shit crushed fruit and piss lemonade, but this is the real world where some people do live off game meat.

  • @FM11Argyle I have NEVER in my life met a trophy hunter, nor do I ever expect to. I eat everything I kill and I always will. I feed myself and my family with venison five nights a week. Second, if you want to talk about being superior to me then I'll happily bring up my 9 years of post high school education, my masters degree, my law degree, or God forbid my time deployed overseas as a US Marine. It's funny how most of you talk of trophy hunters yet I've never met one in my life lol

  • Dude!!!! That was AWESOME!!! I can't believe you brought him that close! What call were you using to get him in? How old do you think he was?

  • At 2:10 ARROW!!! haha :D you don't get a closer broad side shot than that. Man I can't wait for season this year.

  • see how close you can get the elk then jump on an ride it as long as you can

  • A few years ago I was hiking with my dog, when a whitetail buck came running at me full speed. I barely managed to get out of the way and it missed me by about 2 feet. I also noticed that my dog had the scared out of him... all over my leg. Anyway, nice video!

  • @FM11Argyle what did your ancestors eat? Tree bark? No? Then shut up

  • wow scary as hell but beautiful

  • @FM11Argyle Your dumb!

  • @FM11Argyle I like shooting fake ones

  • At 2:04 I would be freakin out if I was you!

  • I can almost hear the sound of the shit hitting your pants

  • great videos

  • That is one horny Elk! haha his dick led him right to you

  • Thats awesome. Good job calling

  • Amazing video footage right here. Thanks for sharing!

  • Was the one you shot bigger than this one?

  • that was really close to you

  • @ ASSfalcon

What the hell would you know about it? As a (former) US Marine Sniper and avid hunter, I know from where I speak. Its all about shot placement- this goes for a bow as well as a rifle bullet, whatever my prey might be. Killing quickly and humanely. Now go crawl under your rock and go away.

    Outstanding video, Huysers!

  • @mikeandbeckynevada Oh Yeh everyoe today is a Marine sniper from the guy with the card board sign that reads ex vet at the street corner begging for food and money to every You Tube 13 year old bragging he is a Russian spatnaz snipper navy seal sniper all in one.

If your any kind of a Hunter you know even the best shot placement doesn't always work right away, you don't have to be ex military to know that about Hunting big game animals.

  • @mikeandbeckynevada For a deer running full speed away from you, their is no shot placement.

  • lol he didn't know what to think

  • Should have flung an >-------->

  • magnificent

  • magnificent

  • holy crap , that must have been some intense 5 seconds ?!?! or better 30 mins ? :D

  • Wow, if that bull was that close to me, i would have definetly missed the shot. That is if he hadn't smelled the mixture of urine and poo in my pants and run off by then, lol

  • That bull was really wanting you bad lol

  • Man that was so close I almost peed my pants

  • awesome!!!!! what a great bull look at those tips

  • I would of shit myself

  • Beauty vid man, some clowns woulda got scared an shotem good on ya

  • my pants would had its own landfill i wouldnt be scared but just excited!

  • @SniperM107LRSR Not true, even when my dad fills his tag on the first day he stays most of the rest of the season just to be up there

  • good lord every time I see this...impressive.

  • was this back in the hills by your house?

  • nicely done not panicking

  • U shood of shot it

  • lol, I've been this close to a moose, damn it's scary having a animal 10x your weight that close huh?

  • Uh woah...human. That startled stagger was cute.

  • Hey, where be da bitches. Yall ain't no bitches.

  • Tag, your it! LOL... LOVE the video, almost pee'd a little just watching! True sportsman, harvesting is just one aspect of the overall experience of a true outdoor efficianado. Thanks for sharing!

  • Shot, or no shot, it's the events like that one that make all the effort worth while! 3 yards from a huge bull elk! How many people will ever get to experience something like that in this lifetime? Not to many...I'm sure. I just hope that in the next few years I'll get the opportunity to be one of them! Cool video, and I hope you had a change of underwear with ya!

  • did you kill it

  • I would have shit my pants just by the size of his headgear.

  • I think It might have been a little bigger!

  • Great footage. was this one bigger than the one you tagged???

  • Comment removed

  • do you realize that you over-called it??

  • @zicks07 Shut the hell up. Do you see how close it got to hijm. I dont think if an elk comes in that close that it is over-called.

  • New sport: Elk Slapping.

  • woah holy shit ha

  • Wow.

  • Great experience. I heard a bull bugle this morning when I let my dog out. That is a sound that I will never get tired of hearing! Great Video!

  • haha i woulda spooked before him if he got that close to me, i had one come withing 10 yards of me last year and almost shit.

Where at in montana is this?

  • @JLagProductions it is in sw montana. And i almost shit too!

  • dude he totally wants to be ur bff

  • @lolXD911 i think he want to be more then friends the way he stuck around lol

  • Thanks for sharing...what a great video!

  • i want to go bow hunting lol

  • Great video. I have been there before many times. Its the being there that counts the most in life. I get so excited just hearing them bugle that I have more fun calling and chasing than I do shooting. Although it is the prize at the end of the hunt when you put your hands on the bones and you feel that satisfaction of completion. Working on our own videos and getting ready for the season here in Canada.

  • good stuff!!!

  • Amen Brother, I totally agree with you about rather eating something that I have harvested. There is just that special satisfaction of grilling a piece of game that was scouted, stalked, harvested, cleaned, and prepared by my own hands. Plus it doesn't have all the Chemicals and Steroids that come in most market meats.

  • Amen Brother, I totally agree with you about rather eating something that I have harvested. There is just that special satisfaction of grilling a piece of game that was scouted, stalked, harvested, cleaned, and prepaired by my own hands. Plus it doesn't have all the Chemicals and Steroids that come in most market meats.

  • i would have jumped up and yelled surprise happy birthday!

  • Corporate hunting farms its always good..........

  • Once in a lifetime right there. If it weren't for this video, who would have believed it? I just had some elk tonight. Little chewy but awesome.

  • Woman, get back in here and make me a sandwich :D

  • When something like this happens, I guess there's no doubt about your calling abilities, huh? Nice job!

  • wow that was amazing

  • theassfalcon way to be a ignorant ass. hunters don't kill first of all we harvest and use the meat to feed families. we take time and effort to make a good shot on a mature animal so it dies faster and won't suffer. they kill ur chicken by chopping off it's head. we also help the environment by keeping the population in order that's why we have to buy tags and permits to hunt.

  • P.E.T.A. People.Eating.Tasty.Animals

  • gay

  • TheAssFalcon obviously thinks that animals are human... What an idiot.!! You're the fag that needs to get a clue..!! Animals are not human..!!! You would think that was obvious. But now that I'm thinking about it, I get it. In your book, anything you can F*%! is human... Just like all the other PETA fags out there... Animals are on the earth for our use. They are not human you... you... you... AssFalcon..!!!!

  • assfalcon, you sound like a vegetarean. That's another word for "bad hunter".

  • @hURdBuLL Sorry, I think you meant "vegetarian". Incorrect spelling, huh? You sound like a moron. That's another word for "thick shit".

  • Nice Pics, bud.

  • WOW great video! do you get that many close encounters where you hunt or was that your first?

  • So "Live and let Live" AssFalcon...? Is that your philosophy? Take your own advice- Shut up and leave us sportsmen alone...!!! These animals we harvest are eaten, and more than that, we place these trophies in our homes to be appreciated for the rest of our lives... No group out there has more respect and reverence for wildlife than us Sportsmen. Go suck a Latté

  • @browningrage11 Funny because you keep saying sportsmen, as if barbarism became a sport at any point during our lives. So you murder the thing you appreciate? You KILL it, then bring it home and look at it's head and call it appreciation? You need to seriously get a fucking clue. Do you get away with killing humans if you put their skull on a pretty wooden board. Nope. What a surprise! And what's all this stuff about lattés? I don't drink coffee. I live in the countryside you moron. Get a life.

  • HA he rolled up on u like Christopher Reeves! What a beautiful animal looks like good eatin too!

  • Beautiful animal. You can't complain about hunting if you eat meat. The only difference is that the wild animal is "pretty" and the corn fed cow has a sad pathetic life. Wouldn't you want your tasty hamburger to have known some freedom?

  • Oh my sweet lord baby jesus, 8 lbs 6 ounces siting their in his gold fleece diaper!! Thats was so close, and he is huge

  • how the hell do they not notice untill they're right there lol u never hear about deer or anything doing this

  • Plus hunting reduces our reliance on beef and therefore reduces the negative impact that cows have on the environment. Although they may not like to admit it, hunters and environmentalists are rapidly converging in their ideals.

  • @azatrox the original enviromentalists were hunters they decided to pay for habitat and management by buying tags and other licenses. look at Theodore Rosevelt he loved hunting but also set aside yellowstone where no hunting could happen. I think the ideals of the two groups are re merging more than the wack jod enviros would like to admit but were ever there has been a major step in enviromental issues hunters have lead the way.

  • For those who are against hunting, I understand that you appreciate these animals. As an ecologist, I am now convinced that hunting is a much more environmentally sound way of procuring meat when done in a sustainable manner. Hunting provides as natural a meat as you can get, hence it is healthier than cornfed beef.

  • Beautiful animals if you surprise them are they more likely to attack or retreat?

  • Absolutely amazing video! Just getting to see and animal of that quality in the wild is, for most of us, a once in life time experience. Thanks for sharing the video.

  • I just love all these "Hunter Haters". They should watch a video on how our cattle and meat is prepared. They wouldn't want to eat that meat again!

  • @fireflyburns You think you're way is better? The animal dies either way, so I don't see your logic...

  • @TheAssFalcon does your name mean you like to fly up peoples ass`s then bitch about what they do with their lives? We don`t look up your videos & cry about what you do with your life.& yes smurfs RMYNME.

  • @smurfnme Yes...I do enjoy flying up people's asses!! How did you know?? You and I...we should be friends. I love you. Bye now, friend.

  • @TheAssFalcon

When the Lord God returns to earth to fix everything we did to it. Then the Lamb will sit next to the Lion as friends. Until then We have permission from the designer & creator of the animals to eat them.

  • @fireflyburns Sorry, I'm an atheist. So, you go off with your rifle or bow or whatever and kill some of those animals, then stroll home and continue worshipping the Easter Bunny like a good boy and eating them with your brainwashed "family". Thanks.

  • Great video, wish i could of been in your shoes. Man thats a once in a lifetime chance there.

  • Nice Bull,

The Bull Walks, Walks, Walks, HOLY CRAP A HUMAN.

Them Seem To Be Blind Sometimes XD

    (In my oppinion)

  • I just want to say. We no longer have to kill to survive, so why do it? <_<

  • @provinceofcyrodiil If you want to let other people kill for you thats fine. You can go to the grocery store and buy your meat there but I'll get my own thanks.

  • @Blacklung27 If there's no reason for us to personally kill....then we shouldn't, thats all im saying.

  • @provinceofcyrodiil You have to kill to eat meat. Whether you do it or someone else does it , it has to happen. I just have no problem doing it myself to get better tasting meat.

  • @Blacklung27 "to get better tasting meat" finally, a reason for doing it :P thats all ya had to say dude x]

  • @provinceofcyrodiil because the human being has been hunters for.. yea since the first pre-humans began to walk. Thats why.

  • man u let him get away what a disapointment he was that close what did u forget to load ur gun

  • @ riptick69: umm, did you not listen to what he said while you watched the clip? he already filled his tag a few days before this video was filmed. thus, shooting this animal would have been illegal.

  • Talk about getting excited for Elk hunting! Great video!

  • Dude cool video, good comments and glad to hear you eat what you kill.. It pisses me off to see the vids on here that some punk with a bow or gun just out killing for the fun of it. They are the ones that give hunters and hunting a bad name.. They fuel the fire of the Anti's. Some of their vids are a total disgrace of hunting and the animals they kill. Their kind of vids drive Anti's to work harder and harder to outlaw hunting..

  • did you see this one get shot? I only take what will be eaten, and i would rather eat some animal that lived a long free life instead of a piece of beef in a feed lot living in 2ft of manure most of its life. I have more respect for animals than i do some people. I hunt b/c I love animals and the outdoors very much. close encounters like this is why i love to hunt. If anyone was keeping score, for the amount of days im the field hunting I dont shoot many animals.

  • @huysers So you're saying you'd rather end the animal's long free life prematurely, rather than letting it die peacefully? Wow...you really do love animals. Keep up the good work, elmer.

  • He's saying, and I agree, that if you're going to eat meat, it is more humane to harvest meat from a wild animal that didn't suffer a long and horrid life in a slaughter house. I killed two deer this year, both died quickly. Because of this, I have not purchased any beef, so that's one less cow that had to live in a filthy slaughter house.

  • @j3koenig Yet it's one animal that would have lived a long, happy life, had it not been abruptly ended by a bullet to the head. There's no point in talking to you people. Ye're so self-righteous and obnoxious that you try to justify you're horrible actions by assuming the animal is better off dead, rather than living in one of these imaginary "filthy slaughter houses", that your kind most likely made up 2 conceal your sick obsession with killing things with big weapons so they can't fight back.

  • Hey AssFalcon (that's cute by the way!) Why don't you watch the video here on YouTube called "Meet your Meat". Then tell me if the cruel treatment of animals destined for the supermarket is some superficial "imaginary" notion. I would much rather hunt and harvest a healthy animal than promote the treatment you'll see if you watch "Meet your Meat". And stop watching hunting videos if you have an issue...moron.

  • @mchorner22 Haha It's nice to know that you find a falcon's ass attractive. At least I know how deep your "love" of animals goes, eh? Well, regardless of this little video you've posted [which I haven't watched], my argument is that...well, the healthy animal isn't so healthy with a steel rod through it's side, now is it? Why say, "Ohhhh These animals aren't being treated correctly. They're not healthy animals! [Dur dur] Now, I'm gonna get my rifle and find a healthy animal and kill it!Woo!" =]

  • @huysers Amen brother. What most "antis" don't understand is it's a way of life and a god given right to harvest. I myself provide for my family. tho its nice to get a trophy its not about harvesting the largest one you can find but the expirience of the great outdoors. I have always said that if you don't feel compasion and sorrow for the life you have taken, then you shouldn't be hunting.

  • @huysers some people will never understand us hunters huh.

  • @TheAssFalcon: You have some serious learning to do. I wonder how you would have lived your life back before grocery stores provided all your goods for you. I bet you would have the exact opposite perspective on eating and life. In my opinion you should be dropped off in the middle of nowhere, left to fend for yourself for 7 days. When and IF you make it back, we'll see what you have to say. Until then enjoy your orange mocha frappachino and your pedicures.

  • @hsojresyuh Haha I don't drink coffee, Indiana. Pedicures? Please be quiet. Good boy. Fortunately most of what I eat is fruit and vegetables, with a "grocery store provided" bonus every so often. The thing is, contrary to your beliefs and your wonderful little stone age world you've got going on there, we have actually somewhat evolved from barbarians [although not a lot]. I don't need to go out and kill and animal with a high powered bow to feel like a "real man", okay? Good, thanks.

  • Obviously you think of yourself as highly evolved, when all you've done is devolved. B/c the moment there is some kind of catastrophic disaster in which your food supply is crippled or destroyed, you will either parish or evolve to figure out how to provide for yourself. You may say no-because I have my little fruits and carrots, but chances are you won't have enough and you won't have the skill for survival. Plus, hunting is not done to feel like a man. Why not accept you were born an omnivore?

  • Comment removed

  • @hsojresyuh And now we get onto your private little rant with me about people killing plant life. Okay, first off I'm Irish, not British. I may own 1 or 2 leather products, but I don't find that hypocritical. When I die, I'll be perfectly happy to let anyone take my skin and do anything they want with it, because I'd have died from NATURAL CAUSES. It's gonna be hard to get my skin if half of it is against a tree from a load of buckshot now, isn't it? Moving on, the fact that plants don't...

  • @hsojresyuh actually have brains [although they may contain a nervous system for phototropism, geo"" etc.], would imply that said plants would not possess pain receptors, thus ruling out any kind of "pain" [I find it arrogant how you force a human feeling or emotion onto another species], while they're being uprooted. You see, it helps to have an education when arguing against someone with one. I wait with impatience till I can laugh at your next comment. Until then, enjoy your hunting, Elmer.

  • it's the thrill of it, you sit around for days at a time, dogging the bush waiting for an animal to make an appearance, finally something comes out, you draw back that bow, and take it out, it's a hell of a rush. and you get free meat to fill your freezer. If you have never tried it, then you dont know.

  • @TheAssFalcon so your saying its ok to let a cow grow up in a slaughter house just to get sent into the grinding machine use your head you idiot this is much more humane

  • @shottaz83 No, I'm not. The cow shouldn't die anyway. Jesus fuck! I'm the idiot? Fuck up, you trigger happy cultchy.

  • @TheAssFalcon You have to understand that the meat you buy from a store came from an animal that was killed for you. Hunting is no different except a hunter has more respect for the meat put on their table.

  • @03Ranger4x2 Nah, they don't. Sorry, I know all of you hunters say that you have "respect" because you display the animal's skull and blah blah blah, but killing something with a high-powered rifle from a hidden position isn't respect. Same with snipers. They're taught not to respect their victim but to realise that killing them is "just doing business". You have exactly the same theory, except the business is your gut.

  • @TheAssFalcon dude, I use a wooden recurve bow with out sights. My range is about 15 yards.

  • @03Ranger4x2 I don't care what weapon you use, by the way. I was using the sniper as an example of heartlessness, not explaining or criticising his weaponry.

  • @TheAssFalcon There is nothing wrong with hunting. I am leaving it at that.

  • @TheAssFalcon I use every bit of the animal. I eat everything including the heart. I make things out of the hide, I use the bones, and I use the antlers for other various projects. For you to make an ignorant response like yours is just complete negligence. When I take an animal I take a moment to pay thanks to the soul I just took. Killing an animal is not easy, it is a deep and sobering experience. Please do yourself a favor and don't make uneducated guesses, and assumptions.

  • @03Ranger4x2 Wow, could you send that to me on paper so I can write your life story? Jesus christ. If it hurts you so much, then why kill it? You're barbaric. You know the animal will die, and that it will damage you psychologically, but you go ahead and do it anyway so you can eat it and make a fucking art project out of its corpse. Fucking hell...

  • @TheAssFalcon PS, do you have respect for the animal taken when you eat a burger, or steak, or chicken wing, or pork sandwhich? To many people these days fail to understand that the meat in the mcdonalds sandwich came from a real live animal. To me that is the most complete and utter disrespect.

  • @03Ranger4x2 I don't eat any of the listed meats. The only meat I eat is chicken. I allow myself to eat this because, while still respecting that it's a living creature, the bird has a tiny brain, and therefore wouldn't be a lot of use in the natural cycle, besides providing eggs. And I only rarely eat chicken, by the way.

  • @TheAssFalcon This explains your whole stupid ass problem, as hunters we have respect for all things that live, animals, plants, bugs, etc, and know they are all part of the circle of life. You just showed us that you place some animals higher than others by stating that a chicken has no purpose than to ease your munchies after a all night dope fest. YOU are a hypocrite, who are you to say
