I have the 16 and 10oz gloves from Hayabusa. I have been using them for the past 6 months and I have been extremely happy with them so far.
The Hayabusa did a good job in tucking in the thumb on the gloves. I had a different brand of glove prior and my thumb would get caught while sparring. Since I bought Hayabusa no problems.
All the hayabusa gear has had a lil update to there logo it's just a way separate they're logo from other logos when put onto a fighters shorts for sponsorship all the gear produced after 4/09 has the new logo with an outlining on it
can i ask you a question ? I got my hayabusa pro gloves today and the hayabusa logo sign has a white outline highlight why is it so ? your doesn't have it nor the display picture itself can someone tell me why ?
Should I get these or the Official UFC gloves? I'm only using them because me and my buds fight for fun sometimes, nothing serious. which should I get for mostly punching not grappling?
@GTagun187 if you are just fucking around get the cheap mma gloves that sherdog sells, save your money. i have hayabusa gloves because i actuall train
ok i dont mean to disrespect anyone at all but are u sure these r real hayabusa gloves not fakes, again not disrespecting anyone but seriously the prices on ur site r just to good to be true
@TrickzAsker, I don't blame you for being skeptical... I have sold hundreds of pairs of these gloves. They are 100% genuine Hayabusa. I do all of my selling thru Paypal where I have a 100% solid record with zero complaints.
I'm looking into buying these gloves but I have no idea which size I should go for. I've checked out the sizing chart on the website and if I took medium the gloves would be tight.. I'm like in between med and large... sooooo confused.. what should I do????
i have these gloves, I had them since october and I use them all the time at my training classes, they are the best gloves I've ever used. Pricey, but worth it.
gotta start by lookin man, it took me a few hours to find a brazilian jiu jitsu school where i live and they opened up an mma gym right next door. Kinda expensive but so worth it.
I have these gloves and they are great except they cut your fingers. There are sharp edges in the fingers of the glove. It's not very comfortable. You need to add bandage when using these.
I have never heard of people getting their fingers cut by Hayabusa gloves- I have heard of cuts from the fake leather type gloves. Maybe you got a pair that was defective- I just looked at the fingers and they have a lining sewn around each finger. Are all yours there?
Yes, there is a red lining around all fingers. It's about the inside of those fingers. There is a bit of unused fabric sewn to the inside which cuts my fingers when I use the glove for about 30 minutes or more.
hey do you know if the hayausa mma shorts run big or small... cuz i wear a six=ze 38 eight in jeanz but i have to wear a belt and buckl it to the end so should i get a size 38 for my mma shorts or 36....... and do you know if they shrink in the washer
I personaly think they run a tiny bit small but they are easily stretched around a waist of much bigger size so a 36 should fit snug on a 38 waist just fine on 34 perfect on 36
the palm side looks like a thong

@GTagun187 Probably the Official UFC gloves. Hayabusa gloves I believe are more expensive than the UFC gloves.

@sfcgllc Hell as long as its an excellent quality glove right?
How light is the glove may I ask? And will it withstand pad and bag work, by yes, the 'shitload'?

Better too big than not being able to get them on.
They do have 2 tighten methods- an inner strap and also the regular wrist wrap, so you should be able to snug them up.

@sfcgllc Thanks alots!

what size gloves were those

Their gloves have 2 sizes only: sm/med and lg/xl
Those were lg/xl

Are these better as the Official UFC gloves ?
RestLessIP 2 years ago
The UFC gloves are a bit more padded, bulkier, where the Hayabusa a more contoured and confortable.
The Hayabusa have an extended wrist support.
If I had to pick, I'd go with the Hayabusa

I did not mean to imply that they were fake- I was saying that the fake leather gloves often cut into your hands.
Thanks for the feedback- people like to hear these things when they are looking at products.
sfcgllc 2 years ago
same for me except mine is only 1 finger so i taped the inside so it does not rub my finger raw but i still love them.

I do have a pair of 36.
Tell you what- if you wrap a measuring tape around your waist and send me the results. I'll do the same with the shorts.
And, they should not shrink

Sounds great, accept you forgot to tell everyone that Hayabusa is rediculously expensive... Other then that, its the COOLEST brand ever!!!
GuamKomudo 2 years ago
Yes, they can be pricey. They normally run about $65 but you can find them for around $54 at some stores (like mine).
But I have to say- unlike a lot of other over-priced gloves, these are very high quality.
