If you look real close ... the train actually "spears" the car. You can see it attached to the locomotive a few feet off the tracks holding the car up and probably to keep it from gouging the ties and ballast.

Now I know the sound that is made, when a train hits a car. Too bad they didn't have multiple camera's set up, so one could see better, for investigation purposes. A young man was killed at a crossing 6 months ago, still under investigation. A witness who had her back to the train,standing about 30 feet way in her driveway, heard it hit the car. It dragged it 230 feet b4 separating from the train. Many people are messed up over it, me included.
