Actually the interviewer's comment that Leonard's poetry received world-wide acclaim when it was published is not accurate. The poetry intelligensia found his work too sophomoric, which is why acceptance in poetic academia has alluded him.

paolo conte lo adoro mentre ho molte riserve per quanto riguarda giorgio...
ma...non mi fermo qui..in YT ti limitano ed escludono i cantanti internazionali ma io li ho sempre seguiti......ci piacciono gli animi geniali e, almeno per quanto riguarda Cohen..DIVINI....ancora grazie:)

Yes, he is the only man I love (apart from my brother and my father!). He really should do a cover of "Je ne regrette rien"; it could be a perfect fusion of Parisian chagrin and Montreal angst.

LC is the greatest, as always. But that reporter is rather annoying.
"Were there times that you lamented the power of women over you?" - is a kind of dumb question dumb people would ask when they want to appear too smart.
And what "quite prolific" for this reporter does mean? LC released just 4 albums during the 70s.
