The first book I read cover to cover was "In The Heart of The Sea." It was given to me by then Marine Corps Captain D.R.V., a man who has inspired me in more ways than one. Turns out, I picked up "The Last Stand" today at Borders (going out of business sale). Found this short synopsis of the book on YouTube and discovered Mr. Philbrick is from Pittsburgh, my hometown. Can't wait to finish another one of his masterpiece's.
