They now have Griffin Hall and made a lot of improvements to the plaza. I'm not saying it's a wonderful looking campus, but I think this video makes it look a bit worse than it really is.
Your video is horrible. Your camera is a piece of crap. NKU is a lot better than this. I went to NKU, and I miss it a lot. It has changed in the past two years, and before I left Kentucky, they were doing some major remodeling.
The concrete buildings may not be pretty to some, but that's not the way to judge a college.
nooo i would totally have to disagree with this video when i visted everyother college i was annoyed with the same old traditional look but when i visted nku i have to say this is one of the most modern and good looking campuses in kentucky
man, i was considering coming here as part of a foreign exchange student trip from Glasgow, but even the comments made on this video just tells me that everyone here is depressed!
This video does capture well the desolation and disconnect that an NKU student can sometimes feel as a result of their surroundings. I lived on campus during my time, including summers, and continuously sensed melancholy from the night I first moved into my dorm a day before class, until the very late hour wherein I finally pulled away in a loaded car a week after graduation. Thank you.
Mostly. There is a valid aesthetic to the concrete and block architecture; however, NKU's grey-on-grey appearance wasn't a mood lifter in winter.
Then again, there were times where pink sunsets did visual wonders to all those reflective surfaces, and there were beautiful views of the Cinci skyline from the top of campus.
NKU could sometimes sour your mood instantly.
It didn't help that the girl I wanted to marry left me while there, and it got lonely during summer school.
Wtf? Lol this makes NKU look like a concentration camp... It's actually a pretty nice looking campus.

You are right. The campus is so ugly. It looks like an industrial complex. I wish they would try to spruce it up and make it look a little warmer.
