i have to say, this game wasnt very good (although i did like the trailer). insult me or not but it was definitly too difficult, and when it wasnt difficult it was boring (more boring than difficult). the graphics were fine but they dont make a game and the driving felt awkward. that racing line bullshit is horrid. they really screwed it up. heres hoping they do a better job on the second

I just bought shift on steam, bought race on a month ago. I played Iracing for 2 years, it cost me around $750 dollars to play Iracing and was not as much fun as either of the 2 above. Infact it was one headache after another and not enough fun. I hope NEED FOR SPEED SHIFT goes more into sim sports car racing ... you are going in the right direction and it feels dam good. I am playing on pc and expect alot of good videos from me.

It's very clear that it's CGI or, at least, altered real-time graphics. I play the game on my Quad Core PC with 2 Radeon 4890's in crossfire and the game looks beautiful, but it doesn't look like the pre-rendered graphics in this commercial.

ok lets get this out of the way, NFS SHIFT is nowhere near as realistic as Grand Tourismo , no game ever will be. SHIFT is just a step in the direction of the original games, away from all the street racing bullsh*t they've been making for the last 5 years. it does have enough realism to it to appeal to hardcore racing fans. but it also has options to help more casual and unfamiliar players in races. its a great racing game but you actually have to like RACING CARS to enjoy it. this isnt burnout

I hate it because it's a Need for Speed that tries to be realistic. I don't mind difficulty and realism, and I certainly don't mind driving a real car, but if I want that, I have GranTurismo. I turn to NFS games to just have fun and throw realism to the wind. The past few NFS games have utterly failed in this respect, and, in my opinion, have made a BIG mistake doing so.

This game is rated 3+ (E) and it's kinda funny coz i don't think people by that age would enjoy this game that much. When people put age ratings on games,they shouldn't just put the rating based upon the games content,but if people by the age they've rated it with would enjoy it.

I think the game should be rated 7+ (E10+) or 12+ (T), coz people around those ages are more likley to enjoy this game.

i tried the demo and is easier with the wheel, with the pad is more difficult because in corners you can't steer perfectly, so you might slow much and loose positions, it's really realistic
