These ding-dong strikers aren't very common - this is the first one I have had in for repair for a long time.
You are correct about the half-hour strike - a pin on the center arbor raises one hammer and lets it drop at the half-hour.

Thanks for sharing. Never knew these clocks were also made as Ding-Dong strikers.
The striking on the half hour looks to be just the one lever that is actuated by the (single) strike activation pin?
