The amazing part, to me, is that Amaechi didn't even start playing basketball UNTIL HE WAS 17 YEARS OF AGE!!! Clearly, he had one of a kind talent, which proved to be dominant in European leagues, and competent enough to play in the NBA. Who knows how good he could have been if he was privy enough to begin playing basketball at a much younger age--similar that that of many of his NBA counterparts.
