  • All the Batman movies before Batman Begins we're the worst

  • @Awesome1271 you're an idiot .. The first two batman movies by burton were Classics!

  • I keep coming back to this. This selection of clips is perfect!

  • @nielsville1234 Wow, than you honestly dont know how to take a joke if thats the case

  • HIT ME!! lol perfect

  • "see to them, you're just a freak"

oh my god that part was so well done

  • LOL@ the "HIT ME".. looks like it actually what he said...

  • Ahahahahahahhahahahhahhah GREAT!!!

  • Talada taladaaaa!

  • haha! so cool!

  • 1:44

That "Hit me!" was damn PERFECT.

  • The fuckhead who posted this video is retarded enough to compare the 60's batman to the shitty batman forever and batman and robin movies

  • It's so good it is to live in 2011

  • Comment removed

  • Um. How dare you claim this was one of the worst Batman movies?!! The 60's version was an approach that embraced the inherent absurdity of the Batman comic book world; say what you like about how dark the source material is, it still is about people who dress up in bizarre costumes and behave in unrealistically comic book-like ways. Too often people take this material so seriously that they lose the sense of fun. I love The Dark Knight too, but the campy version is a big part of Bat-history.

  • @frankgorshin Totally agree. Adam West was at Comic Con with Burt Ward & Julie newmar, and I like what he said: "The newer Batman characters are the Dark Knight. I was more like the Bright Knight."

Goes to show that you have to consider what the 1966 series was meant to be. And NOTHING was as bad as Schumacher's "Batman & Robin." Worst movie EVER made.

  • @MWCfan78 Haha, well I have to disagree with you there. That was the 90's Batman movie that came closest to the spirit of the TV show for me. Of course, the writing in that movie definitely wasn't as smart as the writing in the TV show, but I still appreciated the campy performances, especially Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy.

  • dark knight rises---> /watch?v=ZNFLCoeISjI

  • I fully get that the show was meant to be campy - but I don't like campy Batman. I never have. He was just never meant to be campy - look at his origin story for goodness' sake! His rogues gallery are a group of sick demented freaks who commit atrocities in the name of the same insanity that plagues Batman himself. I'm not saying they should all be The Dark Knight, but they should have an element of seriousness to them eg The Batman. Brave and the Bold was atrocious - no-one should ever try camp

  • The Lucius Fox of the 1960's is groovy.

  • DOES EVERYONE (except me) FREAKIN' HATE CHRISTIAN BALE'S BATMAN!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

    Jeeez!

  • @MovieGarageFX No true Bat-fan hates C Bale's Batman.

  • @MovieGarageFX I don't hate it, but I agree it's not great. Keaton's Batman was the best, by far in my opinion. Tim Burton's original Batman was a touch better than the Dark Knight I think. The Dark Knight is still a very good adaptation though.

  • Adam West and Michael Keaton were the best in my opinion.

Christian Bale just seemed like he had a sore throat.

  • This was so cool. Great work. Thanks for uploading it.

  • man...that was really good, shit i remember watchn that as a kid...dammm im getting old, but NOT that old...lol...

  • The Great CR will always be my fav Joker.

  • There approximately 131 people in this world who are in serious need of a rectal beef injection. 132 if another person clicks thumbs down on this awesome ass dope as fuck video!!!!!!

  • HOLY CRAP! this is frickin hilarious totally made my day

  • Oh god batman is so unfit in this movie :l

  • @DeluxeBaller1 In this movie, the more ridiculous the better. The Batman series is pure unadulterated silliness (i.e. you're expected to laugh at it) and the movie version is the same. Lines like: "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb" are meant to be funny. It's cartoony, over-the-top, and awesome! :) Taking it seriously is as pointless as taking Monty Python seriously. -"What weighs six ounces, sits in a tree and is very dangerous?" -"A sparrow with a machine gun!" -"Of course!"

  • Love it !

  • Thats cool

  • nice work thats so awesome!

  • glad nolan came up with whole new type of batman...at least he didn't made batman go out in the day..what's the point of watching batman if he goes out in the daylight? mostly bats are known to be out in the night

  • Great Job.

  • I still think that Adam West was a better Batman than Christian Bale is. If Adam West was young, he would have been perfect in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

I mean, Bale could have at least worn the old Batman costume from the TV show. The Bale films also lack the witty remarks that West used in the TV show.

  • @krone900 The 60's Batman only had the witty charms because it wasn't serious, while the Dark Knight was serious and, well, dark.

  • batman IS a freak wen hes half naked on a boat

  • GUYS I RLLY NEED HELP CAN SOME 1 PLZ ANSWDER : uh, was that a SHARK that just exploded or am i just developing severe schizophrenia?

  • I was amazed at how well Ledger's voice suited Romero, Bale's voice suited West, and Caine's voice suited Napier. Wow!

  • SPLATT!

  • Technically speaking the Adam West Batman was the most faithfull adaptation to any comic book Batman and Adam West was the correct height at 6'2"

Bale was 6'0" and Keaton was 5'10"

    Adam West was Batman

Keaton was really good and then Bale would come in as third for me.

  • @muclesmarinara I watched the Series in german and the Dub had some extra Cheese. Maybe it was in the Original too, i'm not sure. I think it wasn't meant to be serious, it was some kind of Comedy.

  • I'm confused, wasn't that the TV series? I watched them faithfully, loved it.

Anyway, great video, it was funny. :))

  • @Flecha57 yes it was a tv show. but they also made a movie

  • I thought that the 1966 movie was not so bad once I stopped looking at it like a Batman film and more like a comedy.

  • dude, these are hilarious!! saw this in webmovietube

  • HIT MEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!

  • Adam West looks like a millionaire playboy. This guy must have been fucking women left and right. And Adam West could have played Batman in any era. The man had the size the looks and the acting skill to get the job done. He's the only thing good about the Batman and Robin series.

  • OH MY GOD THIS WAS HORRIBLE/AWESOME

  • the dark night was by far the best batman movie yet bale is great at playing both bruce wayne and batman

  • 0:30 I fell out of my chair

  • This Dark Knight is anything but dark haha, but i prever it over the actual one, i mean over Nolan's Batman.

  • I was 17 years old...had been a fan of Batman comics...and was SO excited about the new Batman show about to premier on ABC. I sat down...watched it...it was one of the biggest disappointments of my life. The next day everyone was talking about it. My English teacher agreed with me. It stunk. If I had been 9 years old I might have like it. Tim Burton's was much better. But I'm glad that in my lifetime I got to see The Dark Knight done correctly.

  • Isn't batman movies supposed to be dark and deppressing

There was nothing but sunshine in this movie. He'll if that is gothem city you can sighn me up

  • Believe it or not Patrick Warburton was suggested to play Batman by Adam West.

..He even read script for it and got into great physical shape for it. Man that would've been COOL!!! Warburton is 6'3 to Christian Bale's puny 5'8". Plus Warbruton can even sound like Adam West with his cool calm deep voice..then EXPLODING voice of Brock Samson's rage. Shit shit shit. WHY didn't the studios GO FOR IT?????????????

  • @rayrayholland Who the hell told you Christian Bale was 5'8?! He's 6'0.

  • @AICfanAZ Well sport,... I 'm a GRIP. And have probably worked on a lot more movies than you have .

Bale is shorter than Michael Caine ,,Notice that?. Caine is 6'. Maybe you need a tutorial in how to LOOK at some one and tell and not read movie magazines too much. I am Six ft. five" and weigh 280. On the set of Dark knight I was told NEVER to stand near by Bale where someone may get a camera shot. I literally dwarfed the little fella. haha. ...

  • @rayrayholland Gotcha, champ. I can't deny that actors exaggerate their height. Yes, I've been on many movie sets too, and I won't turn this into a pissing contest, but Bale has to have serious brass ones to claim four inches taller. Looking at a picture of him, Kate Bosworth (who's supposedly 5'5), and Brandon Routh (who is supposedly 6'3), would seem to put Bale at 5'11 to 6ft. Is everyone in the industry lying about their height?

  • @AICfanAZ Hey you're right . No pissing contest. Bale could have been maybe 5'11. But my point is why in THEE HELL does Hollywood listen to casting directors in casting stars to play costumed hero roles. When they cast Christopher Reeves as Superman many years ago he wasn't a major star and that was a dead on great pick. Warburton should have been offered that role. Yeah, he does a lot of comedy BUT SO DID MICHAEL KEYTON.....who was a SHRIMP. Dark Knight was best because of Heath Ledger. AMEN.

  • Great vid editing.

I always thought Adam West should play Bruce Wayne in a Batman Beyond movie.

  • hey! this is pretty good!!! nice job

  • this is fake, they just took the dark knight audio from the trailer and used scenes from the 60s tv-series

  • HA! WATCH!

  • Really amusing... kinda fit, in an odd sort of way.

  • This was so well done.

  • This is incredible, great job!

  • THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!

  • This movie can't be compared to the Batman movies of the '90s and '00s. This movie is campy and not meant to be taken seriously. By the way, I love the movie.

  • Love the "Hit Me" quote video match with Romero

  • Fucking brilliant love the timing and everything.

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOD:D

  • I like how you choose to give Morgan Freeman's line "Now, that's more like it, Mr Wayne" to a black guy.. you must have searched pretty hard, because there isn't many blacks in the series!

  • @DemiathDoomhammer REAL HARD !!!

  • @DemiathDoomhammer LOL He must have looked MAD hard for that brother!

  • Best is batman darkmknight. Rest is sht.

  • @aZaizar GODDAM RIGHT!

  • And he didnt need any rubber muscle suit, PURE WEST!

  • Original Batman was a joke...obviously told from the Joker's point of view.

  • 1:08 Eh.... Buh... Wa... WHAT THE-

  • Well done!! VERY enjoyable!

  • nice

  • nobody messes with Adam Wee...

  • Very creative

  • I love what you've done,. but the 1966 Batman is brilliant.

  • A true Batman fan loves and respects the 1960's Batman

  • Keaton reminded me of beetle juice, Kilmer wreaked, Clooney absolutely sucked,Great movie.

  • george clooney worst batman

  • MARAVILHOSO...PDS

  • Great job, nice movie!

  • gotta love the old movies... XD

  • epic lol

  • nice video, but the 66 batman is not bad!

    Schumakers' is all but rockbottom.

  • Sweet! great job thanks for posting it.

You should do the same thing with Batman Returns!!

    Have Fun

    LW

  • I give this 2 thumbs up!

  • #OMG a goocl movіe to download іt роор.su

  • the 1966 Batman Movie is right in the middle, it's better than the first Burton adaptation, it's better than Batman Forever and Batman & Robin, but it's not as good as Batman Returns, Batman Begins, and of course, The Dark Knight.

  • i can't stop laughing

  • rather watch 1966 batman than joel shumachers batman

  • robin looks gay

  • Battasic

  • Gay!

  • I still have two 1960s batmobiles in their pkgs. I loved the 60s. And yes I remember it well.

  • This trailer ROCKS!

  • Best Batmobile ever! The Tumbler just doesn't do it for me.

  • Brilliantly put together. Adam West at least had a cooler voice than Chris Bale. ;)

  • Damn the girls in this show must be milfs now!!!! Yummy

  • OMG HAHAHAHAAH Awesome just Awesome LOL

  • Batman: The Movie is just like watching some old Dr. Who episodes: silly, campy fun.

They both even use the solution of "reversing the polarity"!

I mean, seriously. It's so bad it's good!

  • @SaveMySanctuary Except this is a comedy and supposed to be funny.

I'm not sure if that's the case with Dr. Who.

  • @dignankumar Even if it's not meant to be a comedy, old Dr. Who (and I mean from similar time period) is pretty funny

and even in some of the more recent ones by Russel T Davies there can be that kind of over-the-top comedy (example is the Slitheen chase scene thing...)

  • @SaveMySanctuary I must confess you know way more about it than I do. I only remember seeing some of the show when I was a kid and thinking, "man, this makes Land of the Lost seem sophisticated." Okay, I didn't think those actual words, but I suppose "campiness" was beyond my comprehension at that age. I'll shut up now....

  • I appreciate the 60's series for what it is but never found the movie to be that engrossing. Individual episodes are so much better. I still wish they had the Clint Eastwood/Two-Face episodes made after all; it'd be interesting to see that in a respected campy light.

  • There will only ever be one Batman for me.

    The great Adam West.

    And Burt Ward as Robin.

The greatest crime fighting duo ever.

    Long live the 1966 version.

  • pure magic! congrats. The only thing and I don't know if anyone else caught on, ...is that the Warner Brothers logo is seen here against the 1966 Batman footage. 20th Century-Fox produced the 66 movie and the 60s tv series. Kind of surreal, Warner brothers and Fox, but then again didn't Fox & Paramount team up to make a lil ol movie called 'Titanic'? LOL!

  • perfection!

  • "Hit meh!" xD Perfect syncing.

  • Is there a shark hanging on batman? XD

  • @Lonerxxxpppp it was jaws on the wrong set.

  • GOOD!

  • This is EPCI! :]

  • The 1966 Batman movie is the BEST ONE EVER MADE!

I mean.. the man-eating-exploding-shark, the badmobiel, ADAM WEST?!

Adam West can kick Christian Bale's ass every day!

  • @moviegods You need a fucking smiel on your face

  • @moviegods Ok,I love Adam West and the original Batman series to, but slow your role junior, Christian Bale Batman can kick Adam West Batman's ass, that's just fact, has nothing to do with whom you like better.

  • @gr8latino Haha, NO way in hell!:p Adam West will just get his 'Christian-Bale-repellent-bat-spray'...

  • @moviegods Actually Batman forever was the best, but I really liked this one as well!

  • @moviegods Hell yeah! I don't watch films about a guy dressed up like a bat fighting a kilelr clown to take it seriously!!! And remember, some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!!!!

  • @moviegods no

  • @bonscottboy yes

  • @trivium1392 you're right. B&R is ok, but not one of my favs.

  • LMAO!

  • That was excellent!!! What fun to watch the true comedy classic with the trailer audio from the Dark Knight. Really good! It must have been fun to make this.

  • Absolutely amazing! Dude, you rock!

  • The best and coolest Batmobile of them all

  • This is extremely awesome.

  • Terrific job! Thanks for the laugh (or, should I say, I get the joke? No, I shouldn't).

  • I can't believe it!! I nearly fell dead because my loughter

  • The only bad is the one with Jack Nicholson. Honestly you play golf not act.

  • 1966 is one of the best actually, if it wasn't for this movie hardly anyone would know who Batman was

  • this will definitely put a smile on anybody's face huhu~

  • this way makes it appear less gay then that movie actually was.

  • this movie is a joke!!!

  • Roflmao! Best trailer everrrrr!!!

  • The two most different Batman movies possible.

  • I really like the 1966 movie, I put it on sometimes as I go to sleep. "It all adds up to a sinister riddle. Riddle..er. Riddler!"

  • 1:46 "HIT ME!!"

  • this is way better than batman and robin :P

  • Gahahhahahahahahaha

    Excellent job!

  • Amazingly well done!!

  • "People are dying" *shark dangles from Batman's leg*

    :D

  • im glad someone took the time out to do this,

    bravo

  • "to them you're just a freak" and we see the batman hanging from a ladder in that ridiculous suit, I can't help but image how people would think just that ("freak") if someone was hanging from a helicopter by a ladder wearing that outfit.

  • lol great job.

but you cant really blame the 1960's version of Batman. times were different back then.

  • Lame...

  • Very inventive and a lot of fun.

  • YOU might not like it, but this is what brought Batman to his cult status, without all of these original batman shows and movies, there would be no attention on him for Frank Miller.

  • that was awesome...great job!!!!!

  • Holy trailer, Batman!!

  • The 1966 Batman movie is NOT the worst Batman movie ever made at all!!!!!!!!

  • @Rkerekes13 Yeah I have to go w/ Batman and Robin as the worst.

  • @amasingfatass Well, thanks!

  • It's like he said, "next to Joel Schumaker's". As bad as the '60s Batman stuff was, at least they didn't put freaking nipples on the bat suit.

  • @Slartiebartfast I think the 60s Batman stuff was awesome!

  • If you're into that kind of thing (cheesy, so bad it's good type humor), but for those of us who like the comic book Batman...it's painful to watch.

  • @Slartiebartfast Okay.

  • @Slartiebartfast Sorry to disagree, but I am a huge comic book fan and I love Batman. This series/movie is awesome! In fact, Grant Morrison was inspired to write 'Batman Reborn' after watching it. Besides, its miles better than the Joel Schumacher movies! Remember that Batman wasn't always the dark Neal Adams era character. He has been many characters. I think DC should publish comics based on the 60's series as one of its 'Infinite Earths'...but then I'm dangerously insane.

  • @Rkerekes13 The worst one is B&R.

  • @timberwolf84 I agree!
