Mavrovic was a magnificent fighter. He was technically good, tough and fast. Lewis outfought him over twelve gruelling rounds and Mavrovic was never the same. No one should snipe at either fighter - it is all up there on YouTube - as is this one. Why should anyone want to take anything away from Lewis, who beat every man who ever stepped into a ring with him? It is all up here for anyone to see.

Who was that? He was a very tough, very fit Croatian. He was undefeated at 27-0 of which 22 were by knockout and as with most of Lewis's fights he was the WBC's number one contender.

@BoxingPride Ive never seen Evander head butt anyone, with the exception of Quai, Dokes, Bowe, Chyze, Tyson, Moorer, Foreman, Vaughn Bean, Lewis, Rahman, Toney, Ruiz, and Sherman Williams. The trouble people have understanding Holys style, is that he's an inside fighter.. its either he let his opponent back him up all night long, OR stand your ground and land inside punches to make the opponent stop advancing. Seems logical

@dan4579 Well, given all the naysayers who have always been out to discredit Holyfield as a fighter, particularly a HW fighter, you would think that if he had been on steroids, this same group of people would have put it all over the news at the first chance they got & with all the rules and regulations, and strict testing, especially of a high profile fighter like Evander, if he had been juicing, it would have been uncovered long ago. i would love to hear the judge that gave the fight to evander explain themselves,ive heard that they gave the 5th round to evander!!! how the fuck?holyfield was dominated from start to finish i gave him 3 rounds and 9 for lewos,even if ya had it closer it would still be 8 rounds to 4 for lewis,or if you were biased it could be 7 rounds to 5 for lewis and thats being extre,ely kind to holyield,either way lewis won

@KIWIAZALWAYS I did hear her explain it on HBO post fight show a week later, actually! Uegena Williams said she can only score the punches she sees, and she felt that from her vantage point she saw Evander land more clean blows. She also said in the 5th, Evanders back was to her the majority of the round, so she could only see the punches that were landing on Lewis' face. HBO then showed video of her having a perfect side view when Lennox was pummeling Holy against the ropes, so shes just lying.
