@RuDeRaStAfArIaN No, the safety bars on the side were perfectly high enough. I have used them many times. If I fail I just lower the weight all the way and lean forward a bit.

@dbennett4 I measured it. I set up benches and a scale at the exact height. It was actually like 202 at the top. I measured the doubled monster minis last week in one of my videos as well as they were 172 pounds of tension. Anything else, little Davey?
Yeah I lean forward but I wouldnt say it is really dangerous. Steve Goggins held the world record at 1100 pounds and he leans more forward than I do. With that said, it doesn't mean I am not going to get injured doing this. I am going to adress this and try to stay upright. Thanks for the comment.
Yeah I know that now. I am a solo powerlifter where I live and I only recently started taking vids, so up until i was told that I had no idea I was doing it incorrect. I got some good advice from people on "pulling the ground apart" with my legs at the bottom and that has resolved that problem. Also has made my squat a lot stronger with that simple chamge. You look strong, but i can tell you have small arms. If you want to get a bigger squat you really should think about doing some isolation movements for your arms. Cable curls are really good for isolation!
You are right! I did 8 hours of barbell curls last night and my squat skyrocketed. Now my arms are so big they dont even fit in my sleeves. On top of that, I notice that the girls were digging the curls. You seem to help out my life in general. Thanks angrylazermonkey!
