my 91 cavalier has close to 200K on it but im not sure exactly how many miles it has on it. the odometer broke at 172K miles back last feburary. i will say the GM 2.2 TBI still runs very strong. no oil consumption, no oil leaking, and no codes. i have done some maintenance but it has been hands down the most reliable, cheapest to maintain car i have ever owned. its going to run another 4-5 years no problem
95 saturn sl1 made it to 289,000 on it and it still ran good but the frame snapped on it cause of ny salt in the winters, welded it together and is a field car now
Where do you guys/gals who have such high miles on your trucks get them from? Work, Business, Pleasure? I mean there is guys/gals uploading videos of their cars/trucks turning 200, 300, 500 and even 600K on here. Whats the deal? I just saw a picture of a guy who turned 200K in a 3 year old truck......how does one get the time or money for that matter to do this?
@vintagefame i got something even better, a 1997 toyota camry with over 500k on it and the engine and tranyy are original....toyotas are lil energizer bunnies lol
I got this car with 12,000 miles on it. It's been the same engine all this time.
New fun fact: I put 13.8 gallons into the tank yesterday. That's the MOST I've ever put in (previous recore, 13.1 gallons. This thing drives forever at "empty".
Yep, completely lame. It was the starter (they die eventually), but now it still won't start. It's either a battery thing (which takes between $10 and $80 to fix), or it's now the Alternator (unknown cost, but I imagine it to be about $200 or so). Luckily, I can walk to work for now :)
how many timing belts

@KarstonLikesMustangs I'm listening to a song I made called Dream Sequence. Low budget 4 track stuff, but I like it. :)

MrRichierich1990 1 year ago
@MrRichierich1990 those miles are nothing for a toyota corolla. as long as it was well maintained and taken care of!

Yeah these Toyotas are endlessly reliable, but I'm more biased towards Honda :)
I just inherited (kind of) a 1994 Corolla DX with 131,000 on the clock.
Where the hell do you drive to gain THAT many miles in just 10 years?
