I just started backspotting a couple days ago, and my flyer just started flying this year, I almost broke my nose yesterday 3 times. And I fell on the floor to save my flyer :) Backspotting is one of the "easier" positions I am told, but Ive never stunted before and my hand placement is a little off sometimes. like im trying but I am having diffuclty. Go from a lib to a squish to a 360. from a lib to a squish I have problems where to put my hands, any tips? 2 day as a backspot. 3 day stunting.
you really shouldnt say that. flyers can fall and break their bones, be paralyzed, a number of dangerous things. bases have it hard too, but every person in a stunt has a hard job and is at risk. its EQUAL!
so can bases! I am do a stunt group and there is this girl who flys who wasnt doing the stunts right on porpes just fell and one of the girl had to move pasitions so the flyer wouldt break anything when the flyer ended up landing in her arms but the base ened up having a broken ankle and a broken rist just becasue the flyer wasnt couperating!
that backspots a legend.

that was good up until the ending ! but i know its tough doing new stunts. ive been in every position : base, flyer and backspot. theyre all hard

NICE CATCH BACKSPOT!
Your flyer would be dead without you.
I watched it like 5 times how the bases didnt know what the flyer was doing at the end,
and the backspot was just looking to get her hands under her arms.
But, I understand the problem of course,
the bases and flyer didnt know what was happening.
Thank God for that backspot though!
You guys have an amazinggg stunt group!
