Been a fan of suicidal since late 80's and have just viewed this new material on u tube (thats if it is new) please could someone tell me the name of the album and were i can buy it?
@CHELSEAKEV30 they've just released a re-vamped album full of songs from the join the army album and the 2 mikes spin off band no mercy. you can get it from amazon, e-bay and so on. you might find it difficult to get it at your local hmv though.
although i think there is a new album (with new material) coming out towards christmas.
Hmmm I had an ST vinal in 1984 they had been ST and playing for a while, then he bought a house in Camarillo California, met him quite a few times, so I think someones timeline is wrong, or maybe just not born yet lol
Yes it is... But the REAL name of the song was "War machine"... It was played by No mercy with the original singer under that name and lately Mike came in with his lyrics so he changed the name. I'm confused about this record... Is it remake or just a remaster?? Because it sounds almost identically like widespread bloodshed's version but much louder... No doubt I'm very happy because they brought this song back to life ;)
Actually It is the original name. It's not called War Machine because the lyrics are different. U can't say witch one is "real", they are two different songs, same riffs though.
No way dude! The original name for this track was "The War Machine" sang by Kevin Guercio, lead singer 'till 1985... Under that name song appeared on "Welcome to Venice" compilation in 1985 (two years before "Widespread Bloodshed" where this song was renamed in "Crazy but Proud" by Mike Muir)
Yes I know the story but if you were reading my comment correctly then u wouldn't need to reply. Like I said the lyrics are different making it a different Song. Both are original titles with all technicality. True that Guercio's lyrics came out before Muir's but u can't say Mike's lyrics aren't original, get what I'm sayin?
I've never said that Muirs lyrics aren't original... But when you put them in a song which existed before (and musically everything is identical with the earlier version except sound quality) it doesn't make "another original"
No doubt how do I respect Mike Muir but I think you're the one who didn't red my first comment correctly... (I said "Original name WAS"... Not "IS")
