Sorry berbers people not origin from asia i think you don t know origins of the diferents berbers people , my pepole live in North Africa more than 7 000 years and arabic since about 1300 years , and the origin is from Europe not from asia or Yemen , in generaly berbers aee whitte but in yemen are not whitte , look the true origin of my country ! This is the first time I have ever heard the claim that 'Berbers came from Yemen'. I can accept there is definately a West / Central Asian element, as a lot of North Moroccans look a bit Asian / Turkik. However I cant see the Yemeni connection with the original Berbers. If anything the Moroccan Berbers resemble the Syrian Arabs (thats just my opinion).

Is there any evidence for this claim that Berbers originated in Yemen? I would be very interested to know more.
