@sensationaddict69 I have no idea at the moment...My son is now 16 mths and won't have an appointment for a while....in the video I believe he was 6mths at that point and 29 inches?
We have an EFTA too and LOVE it, Did you check your car manual to see if it is ok to borrow latch in the center? most cars do NOT allow you to use LATCH in the center to install your seat. We have ours rear facing for our 22 month old 22 lb son and I actually sat my 4.5 year old who is 33 lbs in it and she has a good amount of room rear facing in it also, so this will provide a long time of use rear facing.. which is 5 times safer! Keep him rear facing til her reaches the limits of the seat!
Great seat! We have one as well, and like it also. I'm SO glad you were willing to move it to the side. We also made serious mistakes with our car seat last summer, and fixed them when someone pointed them out to us. So many parents just have a "leave me alone!" attitude and don't take care of the safety of their little ones!
Are you still liking this seat?? I am looking for one for my grandsons---one is 8 months and the other 1 year old! So many seats out there and NONE seem to have all the features I want! But--this one looks pretty darn good --especially for the price! I can NOT afford a "BRITAX"!
Britax is NOT best or Safest, every seat has to pass the same testing to be on the market.. I had a marathon and an Evenflo triumph advance and a true fit and I sold the marathon, I liked it less than the EFTA and the True fit! Just a little fyi :)
Hi, just happened to watch your video and I think you have it installed in the middle seat using LATCH? May I ask what car you have? MOST vehicles do NOT allow the use of LATCH in the center position. I can tell from the angle of the LATCH strap that it's not a dedicated LATCH position. Evenflo also does NOT allow LATCh in a non-standard spacing position. You need to reinstall the seat with a seatbelt, or move the child seat to a side position if you prefer to use LATCH. ~CPST
Thanks for the port! My husband checked the seat later and realized I did it wrongi'm going to update this video cause i don't want to show people the wrong way to do it! I have a 2006 honda pilot.
Thanks so much! A friend wants to get this car seat and her son is 24 inches so she wasn't sure if he was too short for it but he probably isn't.
