definitely not top 5. malkin, thornton, crosby, ovechkin, kovalchuk, datsyuk, heatley,spezza, gaborik, hossa, lidstrom, pronger to name a few. he is still a great player on a bad team, but not top 5.

future top 3 center and best player in the nhl? that makes no sense. once thornton gets older he might be a top 5 center, but there is still spezzza, malkin, crosby, and a ton of other young guys.
