Wow... Nintendo did their research. Most of the tracks I've seen so far on the MK7 retro (including SNES Rainbow Road, DS Airship Fortress, DS DK Mountain, and GCN Daisy Cruiser) are tracks that are widely praised among the community of Mario Kart fans.

@ZKittyKatza By adding the glider feature? They have to change the courses to make them work in this game. Koopa Troopa Beach just wouldn't have worked as a course if they had left it the way it was. You have to take off your nostalgia goggles and be a little bit more open minded to these things, so that in the next Mario Kart when they do this, it won't come as a shock to you.

@scikoolaid I agree. it was my 2nd favourite Wii course and my favourite also made it in. Koopa Cape FTW! And for the corner thing, in the wii game, you had halfpipes incase the jmp stopped you from turning sharply enough. Here, there's no half-pipe, so no ramp.

For Mario Kart 8 for Wii U (hopefully announce E3 2012) they'd use 2 SNES, 2 N64, 2 GBA, 2 GCN, 2 DS, 2 Wii, 4 3DS. Either way, GBA courses always have the same number as SNES.

Kalimari Desert has Got to go. Stages even if 2 SNES, 2 N64, 2 GBA, 2 GCN, 4 DS and 4 Wii. They'll eventually change it and instead use Cheep Cheep Island or Sunset Wilds. I can't tolerate that train and Wiggler has got to go considering Maple Treeway obstacles.

@CuriousUser890 LOL not gonna happen. all copies of the game (across all regions) have been completed and mastered to the 3DS cartridges and have been packaged for weeks (maybe a month or so). if anything some are already sitting in boxes at all major retailers or are currently in transit to the retailers themselves. nothing can or will be changed at this point. whatever you've seen confirmed up to this point is what will be in the final version of the game!. maybe if we get some DLC though?.

SNES Rainbow Road is fact not fiction. it's in the game. so is Kalimari Desert and it's not being replaced. there is only one GBA race course in the game and it's GBA Bowser Castle 1. GBA Battle Course 1 is also in the game in Battle Mode. Wiggler is in the game and will not be replaced. yes you can have only one course from a game and nintendo did so here. the final product is finished.

@OldSchoolGaming4Life Nintendo never does DLC. There is nothing really great about DLC. DLC content is already on the disc but just made as a downloaded. Pretty pointless in today's gaming years. Whatever you get in the game is what you get. Nintendo won't change the game with patches and stuff unlike the 360 and PS3.
