We went through a company called Lyngsfjord Adventure. Their website seems to be down at the moment but, hopefully, that doesn't mean anything bad!
They were brilliant! They organised the dogs and reindeer for us, gave us reindeer stew in a Sami tent and gave us two brilliant days in the gloom!
I hope they are still there and would highly recommend them.

which dogsledding company did you use? We're going to Tromso in mid Jan and are looking at the various dogsled trips :)

@jacquiak try riding on your own, it's more fun ! you stand on the sleigh and control the dogs (they understand when you want to "brake")... I was in northern Finland some years ago
