Ist das so eine Story wie das Muster auf Geldscheinen, das obskure Fehlermeldungen verursacht und manchmal verhindert, dass man Landkarten kopieren kann?
I presume that this is caused by some of the security marker detection algorithms, that trip over some (unusual) pattern on the page. If this is actually the case it's another confirmation that DRM sucks.

When there is native code on the paper, the scanner forgets to strip slashes of the scanned document, so this is a hp-injection-hack :-D
