  • This is not really the ending.

  • It goes...best story IMO MGS=MGS3-MGS4-2

  • guys can i get some tips.... how can i get on to the roof on the part of miners residence

to get the documents...its an extra ops,, documents retrieval no.31..

  • is there allready a new metal gear 2012...

  • lol snake stared peace walker down until it started to dance like A BAWS

  • its not the end :P

  • I know this wasn't the true ending, but it's beautiful. I finished this part of the story, thanks to the HD Collection, and I loved every bit. Kojima, why aren't you writing scripts for Hollywood? And thanks for the collection too~<3

  • his is not the ending, people!!! The final boss is Metal Gear ZEKE controlled by Paz!

  • @YouNoobxD94 FUCK, i deleted my save game thought I was done

  • @caspertjuuh Too bad for you :/ Well, there are several videos of it on YouTube, I recommend watching them :) I never delete save files for games I like (having spent several hours and nice mories with them) ^^

  • この歌は何と言う歌ですか?

  • This ending is wonderful :D

  • I'ma be honest..... I fukken cried.

  • This was probably one of the most amazing parts in the entire Metal Gear franchise. When the music started playing after that pretty brutal bossfight it was pretty emotional.

  • you know at the beggining of that end i whas seriously like

NO PLZ DON'T LET MRE FIGHT IT AGAIN

  • Guys, this isnt the ending, you still have to battle METAL GEAR ZEKE. That's the true ending.

  • Thats nor the ending. Serach for the real ending

  • OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!

    BEST GAME EVAAR!

  • Fuck Solid Snake, Big Boss is way more developed. He didn't have the technology Snake had and he accomplished more than Snake ever did. He fought Snake in his later years. If he were the same age, he'd kill Snake with little effort. Vic Boss!

  • @MikeNepo In fact, with an entire nation at his side, he fell in the hands of Solid Snake twice.

  • @MikeNepo You said "Fuck Solid Snake" so thumbs down!

  • Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker is one of the few games released in this generation with good storylines. I wonder why developers can't make tales like this anyomore?

  • the graphics are really bad

  • @TheThecooldude765 It's a PSP, so actually, these graphics are FUCKING EXCELLENT for a handheld.

  • @TheThecooldude765 excuse me troll!

  • @TheThecooldude765 Yet it's probably the best looking game on the PSP....

  • @TheThecooldude765 Go. Fuck. Yourself.

    It's a PSP game fucktard.

  • it looks just like crying wolf of guns of the patriots. thats its roll.

  • *cries*

  • Sing, sing a song, sing out loud, sing out strong...

très belle chanson... the boss tu nous manque!!

  • @phantom1000A The people who cried have souls.

  • This was like a mixture of Ghost in the Shell (even Strangelove said Ghost in the machine and Snake's seiyuu is actually Batou from that series) and Space Oddysey. I mean... Peace Walker was like HAL on his last breath... Davey, Davey...

  • strangelove crying sounds like a girl crying because her mother won buy her candy

  • Chapter 5's ending: Shit.

Chapter 4's ending: The greatest and most emotionally moving ending I've ever seen in a video game.

  • men im sorry but thats not the final real final is the chapter 5 u need capture zadornov 7 times the last paz is in the metal gear zeke u need fight whit paz D:

  • the great thing about the mgs series is each one is different and always keeps you guessing and even with it ending at mgs4 it still didnt tell you anything so you still feel like the government is keeping secrets from you

  • This ending is very good.

  • the bit where the AI starts singing reminds me of close encounters of the first kind, when the bleeping kicks in.

  • I kinda actually think metal gear solid 2 had a better story than mgs4, because mgs2 kept you more engage and it had all these conpiracies tied up, and you learn more about these secrets when you meet new people throughout the game, that's what kept mgs2 so good. In mgs4, the only thing you're doing is finding liquid and destroying the AI or whatever sons of the patriots sytem...I think all of the games in this series are excellent, they are different each of them which is why the series rocks!

  • @solidsnoop29 it's not really faire to compare the storyline between the two games. Of course mgs4 is the final send off for solid snake so story had to come to an end. mgs2 story was alrite but it wasnt all taht great either. It was way way too confusing and too much plot twist. that's wat made mgs2 not good as mgs1 or mgs3.

  • i want the song it singing.

  • THIS ISNT THE ENDING. haha sorry 2 ruin de REAL ending 4 everbody but u should make ur metal gear zeke at its weakest 4 when u have 2 kill paz lol first snake raped her in a box nd now he has 2 kill her

  • THE BOSS....

    She's taking my tears again...

  • "PEACE!"

  • cant understand what there saying

  • MGS(in my opinion) and Final fantasy have the Best Stories in the list of my game..

  • Amazing. the Metal Gear Solid saga always impresm me with the stories.

  • @belmont1960 and their jokes

  • @johncmcham yes, that's a good point too.

  • @belmont1960 I concur a million times over. The character that gets me all the time. Ocelot, his connections to people in the highest places remove him of all suspicion and he seems to outsmart and surpass his superiors with his elusive movements.

It would be more correct to say He is the real hero of the Metal Gear story. After all his plan was successful in destroying The Patriots for good. A worthy sacrifice to put an end to the man who started it all (Zero)

  • @Mesmereyes You are right about that, Ocelot is my favorite character of the metal gear saga as an antagonist and as a companion.

  • what the name of the song when PW drown herself, it familiar but i cant remember the name(stranglove said that The Boss song)

  • @PNCGOD sing a song

  • @gotokill2 Well this is one of the best games to start. This game, Portable Ops, and Snake Eater are prequels to the original Metal Gear games and explain a lot to those of us that started with the first games. If you're interested in playing more, you should start with Metal Gear Solid 3. It's where the story all begins. If you can, fing the Substinence version. In that verion it also comes with a second disc that has the very first two games that you can only play on an emulator these days.

  • Dude you guys are idiots. In Fox Hound in the 90's Big Boss made every member have to wear a bandanna. Are you guys really make a big deal over a bandanna gay MGs fan boys. never knowing shit

  • @DTown70 No, he didn't make everyone wear a bandanna in FoxHound. Snake did as a tribute to his mentor the same way Naked Snake did in memory of The Boss.

  • @bbodine61 your an idiot. Play MG1 and MG2. Big Boss tules for fox Hound in was for everyone to wear a bandanna it says it in the game it's self. Not only that MGS1 gaem booklet states it.

  • @DTown70 I wouldn't consider myself an idiot. At the most I'm mistaken, but certainly no idiot. And as for the bandanna that little fact would be taken out in later titles. And I have played Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake all the way through.

  • How do you defeat it? The time is so short. Only have 1 minute and 30 seconds defeat it. Is their a way too stop it.

  • Kaz so anoying in game.CAN YOU STFU KAZ!!WHILE I PLAYING!YOU ALWAYS SAID Boss!Haiyaku haiyaku,.what in hurry you need.while i saw a hostage girl you said send to our mother field.if i find boy you said our room was full damn you kaz.

  • @koneki6787 you know, you ENABLED his voice in the first place. you probably installed the audio codec data on your psp.... lol pwn'd.

  • @koneki6787

lol I know what you mean lol

  • omg...sing a song...really? REALLY? That was sad...and um...weird. -enjoys the show tunes-

  • You can get a different ending if you complete Metal Gear Zeke. You get to fight it, as it gets hijacked by Paz. Also, theres an extra op where you get busy with Paz lol.

  • @THECHIEF103 It's not a different ending, its an ending that happens after this "ending". At the point in this video you're not really done with the story, it just seems that way.

  • so what.. the boss is robocop? ugh...

  • peace walker is a evangelion whit soul of the boss XDDD

FTW kojima, give me your shit! XDD

  • duh, solid snake had bandana in metal gear 1 and 2...

  • its confusing, big boss throwing away the bandana....how the hell did his successor solid snake procured one...?

there is no point on having metal gear 1-2, solid 1-4 to exist...why? THERE IS ONLY ONE ROOM FOR THE METAL GEAR...if its an AI...a room for one processor not a flesh and blood man...

  • @gyuh2bu Umm, Solid Snake never had Big Boss' bandanna...

  • The Boss truly wanted peace in the end, she sacrficed herself twice sorta to do it.

  • hey i need help!! i need the id card to enter the lab where strangelove is...before the battle with the flying metal gear...help!

  • @M0r4D

thats easy find someone with an orange jacket then knoc him out or put him to sleep and search him lol

  • @M0r4D . jesus you'r fucking dumb.

  • I have to say I'm very disappointed Mr.Kojima.

Instead of coming up with a decent explanation about Outer Heaven you totally shit on MGS3 by making The Boss as a "Ghost in a Shell" Metal Gear hybrid and totally leave out the Big Boss transformation characters birth.

    Very let down indeed.

  • @mhrfg if you dont like the games then dont watch the videos on it, in my opinion this game looks really fun, and looks pretty interesting

  • @Aznknight102

Like I said, the story is disappointment.. however the game is great.

  • @mhrfg lol the story seems alright to me, also seems funny how peace walker's head is so round and the idea of the AI controlled bosses was pretty cool

  • @Aznknight102

Na.. The Boss/ A.I. is just a bullshit plot in my opinion, Its just too damn far-fetched and this story should of been about Naked Snake becoming Big Boss and ultimately ending with him wearing a trenchcoat, this was just another MGS3 spin-off I'm not very impressed.

  • @mhrfg lol still interesting though :P but...i just...dont quite understand...where the hell did they get all the technology for the metal gears, shagohad and the A.I. machines that look like aliens!!!!!!!

  • @Aznknight102

Exactly It doesn't make logical sense, Its meant to be the 1970's..

In Metal Gear Solid, REX was a big deal and It was based in 2005, so how in the hell does this thing not contradict that?

Great game and It's a shame about the retarded storyline.

  • @mhrfg not like metal gear rly made much sense in the first place lol, how would you build a machine such as a metal gear, and get all the technology for it when robotics hasent been perfected yet, and same with the railgun which needs a ton of power to use

  • @Aznknight102

Well you see MGS was released in 1998 and is set in 2005 so It's much more realistic compared to this..

I mean Kojima made MGS very realistic in an unrealistic setting which was brilliantly done but this is a load of crap that shits on MGS3's story which was good with the add on story from Portable Ops but this ruined It for me.

  • @mhrfg Really? I felt this was the best of the Metal Gear games story-wise. I mean, besides Metal Gear Solid 2 were all the huge Patriots plot twists conspiracy theories come into play.

  • @mhrfg Watch the real ending. You might have a change of heart, not going to spoil it but from what you said I think you'll like it.

  • @bbodine61

I have the game and have seen the ending in full, this story is one of the best in the series? Absolutely not.

MGS2's story was terribly communicated. A story-line that's designed to confuse you was a bad move on Kojima's part and the last minute debut of Raiden enraged the fans too.

MGS1, MGS3, MGS4 are his best work. MGS3 was the best story that shows us how the government works.. hell I'd even give Portable Ops more credit than Peace Walker when It comes to conspiracies.

  • @mhrfg I do agree that MGS3 was best at telling its story, it was delivered well, which was the "Acheales Heel" in MGS2. It had a great story, but it was delievered in a manner that does outright confuse the player till they play it again or concentrate to a ridiculous extent, that being my only complaint to MGS2s story. As for the Raiden bit, I did hate it at first but now I only see it as nit-picking. The game really wouldnt have been all that much better or worse if you play as Snake.

  • @bbodine61

Yeah well again MGS2's story which leads you to believe that there's a group of 12 men "The Patriots" and then they are all dead 100 years, but really they never mattered because the real Patriots are later A.I.'s and then they add the ENTIRE cast of MGS3 to the mix in the sequel?!

    LOL! MIND FUCK!

It just makes no sense, or rather very little sense when you look at the big picture and the series as a whole.

And LMAO at DTown70, dudes hilarious.

  • @mhrfg The 12 names they find at the end were the Philosiphers. It was the Patriots way of throwing anyone off of their trail.

  • @bbodine61

Yeah but you couldn't of figured that out until the sequel was released 3 YEARS LATER.

Ergo the idea was flawed, they spent 3 years coming up with the Philosophers concept just to explain The Patriots riddle which was then replaced with The A.I. Patriots concept.

The whole thing was designed to confuse the player and It worked, lets just leave It at that..

  • @mhrfg Actually the story of MGS3 was in development early in the makings of MGS2, the same as how MGS2s story was deep in development during the making of MGS. They originally weren't going to have the phone call between Ocelot and Solidus at the end of MGS, but when they had the basic structure of MGS2s story thought up they put it in when MGS was nearing it's completion. The only time Kojima didnt have a sequels story thought up was between MG and MG2, and between MG2 and MGS. PW and PO too

  • @bbodine61

Don't misinterpret what I said, fans couldn't have known that information unlike the developers & writers. Players were practically clueless about the ending.

Kojima was originally going to leave after MGS2 but had to ultimately finish the entire series, my point is the story of MGS2 wasn't transitioned well over to the fans perspective since they obviously didn't know anything outside of what had happened in MGS1!

The game was designed to confuse, It worked.

  • @mhrfg I don't think confusing was the desired effect they were looking for, like I said the story wasn't told as well as the story actually was, if that makes sense. I think it wound up being confusing when they were just trying to make it deep, like I said earlier it wasn't delievered well enough. But thats just my thoughts, if they did actually try to make it confusing I think it would be to make the story seem more deep than it was, not intending to leave players scratching their heads.

  • @bbodine61

No they probably didn't want to confuse you but regardless they succeeded to do so.

They make the ending confusing ultimately because with The Patriots all dead you are left without an answer, you absolutely must go back and play It again or at the very least research the idea and find a solution.

Ergo, It is confusing whether or not It was intentional or unintentional, there is by far way too much information to intake to a single playthrough to understand the plot.

  • @bbodine61

    Continued...

That is another mark of Kojima's plan to confuse you, simply too much information and input. Along with this story's characters Rose mainly, she and "The Colonel" are never "really" there and are just A.I.'s until she is shown at the end, Its all just too much data to comprehend.

MGS1's plot is understandable in It's final moments because the President (Solidus Snake) is very much alive and that can be considered "deep" but this is not, in my humble opinion.

  • @mhrfg And your an idoit also. On the Internet polls MGS2 is highest on the polls. Maybe your just too slow to understand it. Not only that It still out beats MGS3 and 4 in terms of reviews. It's praised for it's philosophical and physiological concept on human ambition and society structure.

  • @DTown70

LMAO! at you calling me an "idoit", nice fail.

Maybe MGS2 has more reviews because Its older, ever think of that moron?

Hell no the story isn't as good as MGS3 or MGS4.

"Praised for it's philosophical and physiological concept"

Yeah well Its a fucking video game, It had an extremely complicated story to which you needed to play It over and over, you play MGS3 once and you understand the story-line and that's common sense, even Kojima admitted It so stop being an "idiot".

  • @mhrfg LOL i like how you said Kojima admittted something but didn't admit nothing but saying MGS2 was his greatest game. And not only that thats why fans love MGS2 because after you understand it it's like WOW what a game. It only takes two playthroughs to understand. And if it took you more than your just an idiot. MGS3 was simple because it was made like that. MG2,mgs1,MGS2, are the most complex. MGS4 was a good game but had a horrible storyline. It's bashed so much. And i agree it sucks

  • @DTown70

I'm no idiot, I have my opinion, MGS2 is a good game, story is terribly translated to the gamer. No game should take more than 2 PLAYTHROUGHS to understand.

I understood the story, others did not. They are not dumb, Its the story that takes time to absorb and workout, there is too much data to digest in a single run, MGS2 is a very short game without all this content also.

MGS4's story was great, better than MGS2's and was more about the characters than the story/game Itself.

  • spin off crap.... rising ftw

  • Snake takes off his bandanna like he is saying he can finally let go of her and move on.

Cue the evil trenchcoat and the slicked back hair.

  • @darthkahn45 Ironically, Metal Gear Solid 4 implies that he never truly let go of her.

  • @Pokeria1 Yeah it doesn't really make sense does it? still I am glad they did it anyway just for dramatic effect.

  • I hope the cutscene version of the song is available somewhere - the electronic effects are awesome.

  • anybody got the true ending???...

  • man this is really sad...They used the boss again even after she was already dead...Jeez kojima hits the nail on the head when showing how goverments work in secret for dirty dealings

  • @ToyGuruMan i know right?!

  • @ToyGuruMan Technically, the Government wasn't even involved in this case. It was some nutcase ex-CIA Director named Hot Coldman who was running a rogue CIA unit known as Peace Walker to satisfy his perverse view of deterrance.

  • @Pokeria1 well close enough

  • @ToyGuruMan Well, (SPOILERS) Cipher (the Patriots) was involved, and as it now has power over the Government, in that sense, yes, the government was involved, but in terms of the actual government itself, no, it wasn't involved.

  • @ToyGuruMan lol... and forgot to say that there are people to try to resist the deals... isnt the main ending.. but this ending is really good....

  • @ToyGuruMan the boss scene is just a flashback.

  • @ToyGuruMan Like how the US government is poorly covering alien activity? :p

  • how did you defeat that thing i spend several hours and still can't kill it!

  • @MGSmainthemeBACK

you serious it took me 2 hours to kill that thing too easy all you have to do is hit the manual pod lol
