There is no prohibition of music or singing in islam per the Quran. Such an idea is a cultural practice that is blindly believed by many people. No one can prohibit music anywhere.

@e17jack Actually that is not the case, the aaiemma came before Imam Bukhari compiled the Hadith, and they got the wording from Nafia (rahimaullah) who got it from Abdullah bin Umar who was the son of Umar (ra).

Why do muslims follow hadith when they aren't the words of the Prophet but the words of Bukhari and hearsay? @e17jack Actually that is not the case, the aaiemma came before Imam Bukhari compiled the Hadith, and they got the wording from Nafia (rahimaullah) who got it from Abdullah bin Umar who was the son of Umar (ra).
So Imam bukhari came way after the Aaiemma and Hasan Al Basri and the others

@waqasalikhanrajput Fact is HAdith were apperantely passed down through chain of narration - until so called Imams collected them years after the Prophet's death. One would be deluded to assume these "sayings" of the Prophet were not corrupted over time even if they were written down. (This is confirmed with the unreliability, contradictions, inventions and ridiculous saying in "Sahih" Hadith) And what about my other questions? Don't they apply too?

@aman7313 Lol, why should I consult Ulama? Are they God? When I have the Quran, the word of God, I don't any advice from the corrupt Ulama who control Muslims using corrupt Hadith which they are big headed enough to say is *Sahih* when they were produced by men.
The Quran say it is easy to follow, is fully detailed and the only guidance men should accept. In the Quran it states that it's the best Hadit and no Hadith should be followed after. But Muslims today follow their scholars like sheep.

Hadiths created divides between Muslims (Sunni, Shia, etc...) THERE WERE OVER 20MILLION HADITHS WRITTEN!!!!!!! Allah states in the Quran to follow ONLY I REPEAT ONLY HIS Hadith!! @theonecom There are good Hadiths and there are fake or misinterpreted Hadiths, however there are more fake hadiths than there are good.. Innovations are Haram; saying music is haram is an innovation. Allah (SWT) doesn't need man to ban something he hasn't for Allah knows best. In the bnukhari hadith it says Allah will turn people who listen to music into swine or something, a complete load of BS. Tell me, brother; why are you not listening to your lord, rather you listen to a lying man?

Had musical instruments been bad there wouldn't be angels singing to Allah, a trumpet to be blown by Israfel, and music would have been banned for the Jews and Christians. Don't be stupid; open your mind. I pray my Salat every day, I am polite and I follow the Quran's teachings- that's the way Allah wanted it.

There is no evidence that muhammad (PBUH) solidly said music is haram.
Someone who has a headache and cannot perform the salah, but listens to music and helps him relax and headache goes away, and prays,... therefore it cannot be haram.... Its the contents of the music that can be haram....but not music literally..... music can be used while exercising...... Only prophet muhammad and the qur'an has the say, and not his people stories... and look for exceptions....

Or is that even an option? For me the decision will be based on how effective those charities are and how well they use the money to help their cause. I dont believe you would have any choice but to pick the muslim charity. Im I correct? I know I would have picked the muslim charity as it was my duty to do so as a muslim.

I myself am a Muslim and I feel inclined to give to charity regardless of the name-a Christian charity does not only help the Christian and neither does a Muslim charity, so your point is completely futile. Same thing in Islam is going on, we no longer refer to Quran, we go to third parties for COMMANDMENTS. Isnt that a sin by itself ? besides that, what is reality, where exactly do you find this socalled reality? if every human being could perceive the "real reality", then there wouldnt be differences between the feelings of different humans. if we were in a certain situation, every single human being would have the same experience in this situation, and this is clearly not the case.
