  • can anyone post the correct lyrics to this, i swear every website iv looked on is bullshit. i thought he said, "im tethered to this post u'v sunk in me" but apparently its "until to the posters soak in me" its doesnt even make sense!!

  • on this one site it said the lyrics were 'i know a place where you're falling, love so hard that you wish you were 10' ten? wth>

  • sick song

  • i HATE indie lol

i like hardcore, dubstep and old hip hop

i have a diverse taste in music and tbh

i think genres are getting stupid

i saw The Cribs at Reading and they amazed me

which does to show that a band should be liked for their music and performance

not for what "category" they happen to fall under

also people who argue over a youtube forum thing

don't deserve the gift of being able to hear the music

    your wasting your time

  • this song makes me sad and happy at the same time. it reminds me of the feeling of losing love but finding friendship

  • this is a door into a different universe...

only open to those who really want to get lost in life

  • thats really deep man,and yes i want to get lost in life for once

  • this song puts me in a different place

  • I also saw it on Never Back Down and loved it, never heard of The Cribs before gunna have to check them out.

  • this song is so epic

  • oh my god.

if im ever angry at the world, this is the song to listen to.

  • this song is so deep.......a masterpiece

its obvious how much the writer of this song has been threw and the vast amount of anger he had contained.....it is now displayed in this song,................ Be safe

  • Lee Ranaldo, a smart poet.

  • i know its not, but this guy sounds soooooo much like corey taylor!! lol

  • No he doesn't, are you a moron? Corey has a low, scratchy, rough voice, this guys voice is medium low with no damage, and it's crisp. Mum says your special, yeah she is right.

  • ok, are you a stalker? seriously how can you possibly know this much detail without watching every single video these two have ever made?!

and btw its obvious it wasnt a serious comment so dont waste my time ok mate?

  • What? I listen to Slipknot and The Crib's, how would I need to watch every video or be a stalker? Apparently you are special, 'mate'.

  • ohh yer fucking bad yrer so fucking badass you listen to shitnot!!!!!!yeah right yu fucking loser fucking piece of shit, fucking nu metal poser you should just die piece of poser shit

  • Actually, I listen to Stone Sour, I don't like Slipknot, so suck it bitch. Think before you open your unintelligent fucking mouth.

  • i dont thin i was talking to you,but if you still need me to lick yer pussy count me out,

  • Good song... reminds me of Nada Surf's "Popular"... it's good to have a moan at the inequalities of society!

  • thats what got me into this was the movie:P

  • yeah i agree, that movie was fucking beast!!!this song is fucking beast!!!

  • i love how loads of people heard this on never back down, i thought it was an ok film but im glad its getting people into the cribs.

  • Awesome song.

  • we need more songs like this just speaking the truth a great sound for unhappy ears

  • Heard this song from Never Back down the movie and loved it.

  • fuckin love this song <3

  • i heard this in never back down lol

  • yeah me too!

i saw never back down like 6 times yesterday, i loved all the songs, the movie and ryans body! hah.

  • freaking good... i heard it for the first time in Never back down yesterday !!

  • <3 <3 <3

  • So, after all its also about missing particular people. Damn, best lyrics ever created, period.

  • it is bloody good!

  • man this song is deep

  • Haha I cant disagree with that! : )

  • Amazing song! : )

    Every things brilliant!

    Thanks for uploading!

  • My pleasure :) It's such a fantastic song that I want everyone to hear it.

  • Your right 100% people like you make youtube what it is mate!!!

  • tune

  • These are brilliant lyrics that are now used seldom. Too many writers try to be "deep" and "intricate" by being misleading and lost. This is concise and to the point.

  • this is so simple that its deep.

  • this song is so stunning. it captures a feeling so well... that mood where everything pisses you off, and time moves so fast and everyhting goes wrong.. its amazing... it almost perfect...

    yay this song!

  • I don't think there's any literal meaning to it; it's just what the listener takes from it. When I hear "open all the boxes" I'm hearing a call to open myself up to all the possibilities, all the experiences that life has to offer. Others may take it differently.

  • I'm Greek so I need a litle help.. Open all the boxes?? If someone will explain me the meaning I will compose my other questions too!I just can't understand some things by translating them. Great song by the way..

  • In old American game shows, the contestant could gamble their money on what was inside a 'box' so they were given a choice of which box to open. In my opinion the lyrics might allude to this, but they are asking why must we only pick one box? Why can't we open all the boxes? or in other words, take a risk in life, try out new things, say yes, open ALL the boxes, instead of having to choose. Of course I could be full of crap

  • every element of this song is great

  • Im speachless... I wish all my lyrics was this good... omg... that was... simplistic.. perfection

  • lime wire

  • I know a place we can go where you'll fall in love so hard that you'll wish you were dead

  • Hey do you have a kink to this where i can download this song?

  • PERFECT!!GREECE LOVES THE CRIBS!!!!

  • fuckin amazing song only found it on never back down and i saw the cribs live before i dont remember this song thou.lol

  • When I heard it in Never Back Down I nearly screamed. I was so happy that they chose it to appear in the film.

  • ahh the irony, I'm listening to this track after watching the film :)

  • best movie!!

  • no no no no no no no noooooo!

  • fuck up

  • exactly how I feel right now

  • AllstarChick95, same here. :(

  • The Cribs. Saviours of the British Music Industry's reputation. Thank God for the Jarman Brothers. Best Band since the Pistols.

  • Good boxingmusic : )

  • Thats the one! Thanks so much, it has been driving be crazy, i knew there was something to do with surf in it and ive been googling random lyrics, thanks a million :P :D

  • popular? by nada surf

  • anybody know the song that sounds like this that has spoken word as well, about dating in highschool and stuff?

  • one question

    why does he say blowjob?

  • Probably the same reason he says unarmed walrus..?

  • prolly has something to do with loss?

  • Awesome! I really love this songs

    especially in the movie.

    A fan from Morocco ;)

  • Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing sprit- crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing you last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?

  • it sounds like the beginning of the movie "trainspotting"

Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed- interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage...

  • Does anyone know which Vaselines song this is from? I cant remember for the life of me!!

  • Which sounds like dialogue from "Fight Club". We are the all-singing all-dancing crap of the world.

  • brilliant song

if you saw them at zoo8

    reply to this comment ..

    safe..

  • yeah i saw them at zoo8 m8

  • they were awesome man..

that was like the first time i ever heartd on of their songs too..

  • No you're the idiot. You can't even spell 'idiot' right.

    Touche.

  • fucking brilliant,

    their best song!

  • it sounds like some new modern rock band.. i cant remember who it was.... but it sounds like something i've heard before.. but the cribs occasional vocals doesnt sound like anything except the cribs..

  • It does not sound like linkin park, how you came to that conclusion I don't know.

The words are amazing. Simple but true. Beautiful..

    Love the song.

  • "There´s no preventative directive or safe approach for living.."

    My favourite passage!

  • Care to say why you think that?

  • Right, comment number 1: that's exactly what the fucking song is about, and it's very cleverly put across.

And no, it sounds NOTHING LIKE Linkin Park, jesus christ.

  • nothing like linkin park, dont be stupid now

  • This is the only song on the album I'm not sure about...

Just sounds like typical lyrics about emotions people feel all the time, and they're not even cleverly put across.

The chorus on the other hand, the chorus is very good! :)

    I love the Cribs.

  • lee renaldo actually came to the new york gig and read this aloud. amazing. someone wrote that he only came because he lived in the neighborhood. LOL. but still amazing.

  • they did play this on the tour! it was insane, they had him up on the screen, woww.

  • spoken word over guitar riffs and backed up by ryan and gary on vocals, fucking sweet.

  • Brilliant.

  • They did play this on the NME tour. The very last song.

    Was amazing. Absolutely.

One of the greatest gigs been to so far.

  • they played this last night nme tour glasgow barrowlands fukin brilliant had Lee Ranaldo on big screens

    Jonny Marr!!!came on stage!

  • Sorry but there's almost no chance they'll play this on the NME tour. They'd need Lee Ranaldo and unless he's this new 4th member they've been talking about then they won't play it.

  • They played this at Birmingham

they just put him on the big screen.

  • I know, saw it for myself at Leeds.

I was extremely pleased to be wrong :D

  • amazing

  • I think this is my favourite from the album.

  • this is awesome, why is this song so hard to find?

  • Lol, I had no idea it was Lee Renaldo's voice. wow.
