Does anyone know what kind of pencil / crayon Dave McKean drew Violent Cases with?

It's hard to tell, but it looks like a brush pen of a sort to me, similar to Kuretake Brush Pen or Pentel Brush Pen. The pen's lenght might imply a dual brush with two tips - a flexible brush tip and a fine-point tip.
