Great job, this is the only review that compares both lights side by side. Thanks to your video, I believe for true uplighting and wash the MegaBar50 is the better product. The Chauvet mini would be great paired up on a tripod as dj lights due to the segmented color LEDs creating a nice chase effect. I agree the seperate color LEDs on the mini could cause hot spots on wash or dead spots on runways.
