  • Somaliland & Djibouti: Indeed Brothers

    Abdulazez Al-Motairi January 05, 2009

Geographically, Djibouti is located at North-West of Somaliland. The famous city of Zayla at Sarar region of Somaliland serves as major trade link between the two countries; the countries exchange millions of dollars in trade every year. both Djibouti and Somaliland share common major businessmen.

  • you wood think the 1 country who wood support somaliland WOOD BE DJIBOUT after so many many think that we share and have in command ???????????

are so call brothers (DJIBOUTI ) .............

they are not supporting somaliland independence because ??

i am sick of this shite Djibouti animals Mother fuckers fuck you all

    stupid Blake monkeys cunts..

  • Shut up motherfucker! are'nt u a stinky refugee in Djibouti? ahahahahahha Sale fils de pute! bande de volailles! a genoux et taille moi une putain de pipe

  • you stupid mother fucker suck my landre dick you gruesome ugly Djibouti Blake bitches

  • we will never recognize a clan enclave we support united soomalliya

  • riyaale was there to finalize the selling of awdal's waters to companies and djibouti in exchange for cheap money and passport for another country. have fun in a non existent siil land that is filled with so called SNM warlords. do you think awdal and sool/sanaag are part of siil land? keep sucking that tigray dick, harGAYsa.

  • The people of both the countries share language, religion, culture and are kinsmen in addition to history of living in peace and harmony. Both Somali tribes in Djibouti are also citizens of Somaliland and vice versa.

In 2003, Former Minister of Tourism in Somaliland was Nephew of Minister of Interior Affairs in Djibouti. This illustrates the deep-rooted traditional relation between Somaliland and Djibouti.

  • President of Djibouti Ismail Omer Gelle praised Somaliland democracy progress, peace and security development during Eid Prayer. The audience welcomed the president´s statements on Somaliland, which showed the wide and increasing support for Somaliland independence between Djibouti people. Also, Somaliland government supported Djibouti against Eritrean illegal intrusion in Djibouti territory, by sending thousands of livestock as support.

  • At each summer, you can see large number of Djibouti citizens moving around the major cities in Somaliland like Boorame, Gabiley and Hargiesa. The people of Djibouti come to Somaliland to escape from the blazing summer heat of Djibouti. In Somaliland, they feel like home, and even majority of them own houses and relatives in Somaliland. Somalilanders call Djibouti citizens ´Yaa Khii´ which identifies the person is from Djibouti. These are deeply-rooted connections between two countries.

  • Before the independence of Djibouti on 1977, the Somalilanders played vital role in the campaign of liberation Djibouti from France, and even French Forces deported large number of Djibouti citizens with Somaliland roots back to Republic of Somaliland. Majority of deportees were active in the struggle against the colonizer.

  • ahhaah you idiot it was the somali goverment who helped the jiboutians. so stop your shity story. the name is REPUBLIC OF SOMALIA... when do you learn you fucking baboons.

  • this is all funny coming from an idoor that literally spread her legs for the british colonizers and conspired against the darwiish. do you know why all somalis call you qaldan? seriously...tighten that dick around the tigray guus in addis ababa because they won't be there for long. everyone knows the SNM tribo-fascism and warlordnimo in harGAYsa. awdal >> says no and sool/sanaag>>> say no. btw the latter is in your interests for they produced trillions in oil.

  • The citizens of both Djibouti and Somaliland have very respected roles in the struggle against the colonizing forces in the region. Both people won their independence without bloodshed and signed agreements which led the colonizers to leave.

  • are you serious lol djibouti and some cheap fishing companies bought the waters along the awdal state. its funny since riyaale is from there and obvious that the SNM warlords >>>> are pushing this puppet for their interests. you cant kid anyone with your lame words of "democrapic" and "peace". the samaroon are there to keep the idoor from ripping each other apart alive. the tigray's use your port without giving anything up. you whore out your ports while they lie to your qarmuun idoor footo.

  • The First Lady of Djibouti is one of those citizens with Somaliland roots, in addition to other important cabinet members and MPs. The people of both sides, Djibouti and Somaliland, share common culture, language, tradition and religion.

  • However, in East Africa, where diplomatic connections and unwritten traditional codes are especially strong, Somaliland democracy is facing a significant obstacle from African Union. But the hardworking Somaliland diplomacy will soon overcome the obstacles, and lead the country towards independence.

  • The recent visit of Somaliland President Dahir Riyale Kahin to Djibouti strengthened the commercial and political ties between the two countries. The two Border Guard Forces of Somaliland and Djibouti coordinate on border security. Djibouti authority is very much satisfied the peaceful border with Somaliland.

  • Djibouti is not an enemy of Somaliland, if we didn't recognize it, it is simply that we are against the devision of Somalia. It is not an anti-Somaliland behavior, it is a love for Somalia and our willingness to help save it's unity and integrity.

And why are you so anti-djiboutian? After all, we are free to recognize Somaliland or not, and we will take our decision based on our beliefs.

Stop creating a hostility between the 2 people when there shouldn't be one.

  • i could not have said it better walalo, we have nothing against the so called somaliland and puntland, but we will always support united soomaaliya, long live djibouti and somalia

  • Yeelkeed...sxb faaladada inta danbe oo dhani waa sax in ay Jabouti marwalba ka shaqayso dibindaabyada Somaliland iyo wanjalaada reer Somaliland wax qarson ma aha cidna caad kama saarna oo nin rag ahi waa garanaya nacasna loo shegimayo..lakin waxanan ila hadda kugu racsananyn inuu Rayaale u tagay danihiisa garka ah iyo mid qaran..oo labaduba waa surta gal...

  • When Rayaale, visited Djibouti he was not doing it on behalf of the Somaliland people but, was engaged in his own self interest. Mr Geelle is anti Somaliland, and will remain so until the day he die, not that we Somalilanders care for him anyway. Geele support c/yusuf and any other Somali faqash leaders. We Somalilanders must remember who are friends are and who are not. Djibouti is not our friend we should not get involved in their affairs. Djibouti supported siyad barre for killing the isaaq.

  • Somaliland will get recognition sooner or later, Somaliland is a stabilizing force in the Horn of Afica, this visit by the President of Somaliland is a warning to Erithrea not to fuck around or else she will be taught a lesson in good manners.
