A few things:

No, they didn't kill a real fox. It was a trained fox (as, evidently, were the dogs), from a company that provide them for film.

It's an anti-fox hunting film, rather than promoting it. Again, pretty evident by how horrid the act came across.

yeah, i just don't really understand this at all. but i'm gonna say no... for one, i just really don't want to think that's what they did, and two, i feel like you can't do that... like have 2 dogs attack a fox to the brink of death, then shoot it, while filming it all... but to be honest, i dont know for sure. i just hope not

I know someone who worked on the film and the fox was not killed, it was a trained animal which played dead and they put offal (meat guts ect) on it to make it look so it was.

I loved the short, awesome idea to take the idea of fox hunting and make it urban.
