I'm sorry but the way that Sawyer screamed and cried when Juliet died he never did for Kate. They did love each other, but the one that completed Kate was Jack, and the one that finally made Juliet feel special was Sawyer. Forget what happens in live...it's obvious it's not important in the show, for they show only the after life.
