Any bookshop can order books for you which they don't stock normally. Amazon UK does NOT "hold millions of titles" in its warehouse (except the ones larger bookshops would be likely to stock anyway). Both bookshops and Amazon get unusual titles from third parties. Amazon has one advantage: it can show you a picture of the cover. With internet, shops can show you the cover. And it is a great deal easier to get refunds in a real shop.

The Professor is one of those characters that is always with me, and often when I have a 'postulating' thought or idea, I hear it in my head like him, so he just happens. I admit he could also be rather annoying, and I have met people who are more extreme than him, and they're not acting.

I think a large part of the appeal is the way that he makes you see things in a different context, from a fresh perspective. (" Leaving a comment of a positive nature ") He reminds me a little of one of my own lecturers who has a penchant for saying " And so on and so forth " after every significant point!
